nice to see, but the main door is not the only place where you can get in, evryone would dig an hole into your wall or over your tower, so the best way is if you make 3x walls with lawa in the mid :)

I agree with computernotify. I thought the lava would go into the hole. It would make it easier to rebuild and I suggest adding a mob trap/item collector. The mobs could walk into the lava and the items could fall down A shaft blocked off with gravel do the water would open it. Good job.

this is awesome, I love how, first the wall of gravel fall to keep you oout, and then the lava finishes the job, driving anyone away. this would be best on a server where property of other builders can only be alterred by them! that would make the gravel wall foolproof and ensure no-one "blows it up". also, it would make it so ony one person can activate the defenses.

2 things I don't like from this

1_So, a griefer enters, takes everything from you but the gate didn't close because he didn't break the gravel.

2_Someone breaks the gravel while you were not there, quickly enters. How the hell do YOU get in then?

My defense system:

STEP 1: In front and back of your house build 8-9 blocks down trenches every 2 blocks.

STEP 2: Build a nether portal

STEP 3: Go to nether and collect netherrakk

Step 4: Fill up 1 block strips in the trenches with netherakk

Step 5: Build flint and steel and light every single netherrakk on fire.

Done.
