Hearing this just reminds me of what in incredible band they had at the beginning. The bass lines from the first two albums were awesome and unique, the synth player was innovative and a killer showman, and Ian McDonald on guitar, flute, and anything else was icing on the cake. Foreigners first two albums probably the best 1-2 punch ever

Most people know the name of the lead singer of a band. Hence everyone knows the name Lou Gramm. The only reason it's called "foreigner" is if it was called "the Mick Jones Band" no one knows who the hell he is. I think it's dishonest for younger fans who to a show thinking it's an original band. Kelly hanson is a great singer, and they put on a great show. But cover bands do just as good a job.

Ok job but just pales i comparison to Lou. Some bands can pull off a lead singer switch and make it work well, but others -- Foreigner, Journey for example -- have such an iconic sound that without Perry or Gramm it just never measures up.

I like how Mick Jones has handled replacing Lou Grahmm with Kelly Hansen. Unlike Neal Schon who shouldn't even show his face ever again, Mick and Lou had many great years together. They toured as long as they could, and when Lou retired, Mick hired a kid (Hansen) who wasn't a total Lou Grahmm knockoff, and has carried on the Foreigner flag. Oh, and they sound great.
