  • I love that car!

  • nomnomnom

  • one of the ugliest cars ever built, i'd take an mg midget over a healy sprite anyday

  • @1954telecaster Your comment made me laugh very, very hard. The Bugeye looks aren't for everyone (they're more "cute" than "sexy"), but the MG Midget *is* the Austin-Healey Sprite. Mk2 Sprite = Mk1 Midget, Mk3 Sprite = Mk 2 Midget etc. The only difference (aside from some very minor badge engineering) is that MG never made a version of the Mk1 "Bugeye" Sprite. But saying you'd take a Midget over a Sprite... That, sir, is priceless.

  • @blockheadface - the MG's arent as reliable but theyre better handling

  • @1954telecaster Are you able to elaborate on either of those statements? I'm not aware of any mechanical differences between the two.

  • @blockheadface - no im not able to elaborate on those statements at all, it's just my opinion

  • Bugeye?????????

    ...dont you mean 'FROGeye' !!

  • It is commonly called bugeye AND frogeye. I hear bugeye more actually.

  • must be an americanism then, definately not in the UK (home of the FROGEYE Sprite)

  • haha. We have enthusiasts on this side of the POND too you know.

  • @DensityTV Good thing too, such great cars.

  • David I cant let me Mrs see this, I've told I cant get the shopping in the Frog hehe:)

  • Awesome, David! What a cool car. I hope you don't feed it any GMOs!
