  • Michael Giacchino is one of gaming's most prolific composers, amazing...

  • Amazing...

  • You know, this has the feeling of a waltz to me. Maybe..... a waltz of death?

  • @ Echnadin check moh frontlines escaping gotha at 4:30 u hear that part

  • Does someone know the name of the track that plays during the final battle in the Flakturm's basement, near the entrance to the sewers, where you face off against SS Storm Elites for the last time? (It's the one with the latin chanting in the background)

  • Did anyone notice that the violin from 2:14-2:18 plays pretty much the same tune as the violin in 1:00-1:10 of the Chamber of Secrets soundtrack, The Spiders? Go look it up. It's pretty interesting how tow different composers came up with the same tunes for the same instruments.

  • thanks for uploading this song...it is so cool

  • I can't help but notice that theres this one bit that repeats over and over again in his M.O.H soundtracks. it occurs at... 1:19. I hear it time and time again. not that its a bad thing, i love it.

  • "The music's so heroic, you could picture the tears running down the musician's face." ~Yahtzee, Zero Punctuation.

  • Love it just as much as O Fortuna which I'm also trying to get for our grad ceremony next year. :D

  • Yeah, it's Der Flakturm.

Someone needs to learn their German...

  • @NCOProductions Or someone has to do a little research on the tracknames? :) The track is called Flakturn. I added a link in the videodescription to the Itunes store if you don't believe me.

  • @ultddave I don't care what the track name is, it's the fact tat in German, it's different. Okay?

  • @NCOProductions

Die,Das,Der all mean the same(to my understanding),it's just the context in which you're using it(again, to my understanding).

  • "GO OUT THE FRONT!" OMG that was SO scary :D

  • For full translation. Though. In real terms. Its Der Flakturm. Which. Translated (too english.) means In full "The Flak Tower". And for anyone who has trouble knowing what "Flak" means in that sentence. Please see SgtMattBAker1944's comment. lol

  • This just sounds like it would be perfect if the airborne dropped into Berlin and completely ignored the limitations of offensives they put on themselves to let Russia have their share of Germany. If the Soviets airdropped, this song would sound good with some Russian instruments. Either way, great song!

  • Der Flackturm=The Anti-Aircraft Tower

  • Hey Guys, Flaktürme (Anti-Air-Gun-towers) were in Berlin, Hamburg and Wien (Vienna).

    correct german:

    der Flakturm (the "Flakturm")

    ein Flakturm (a "Flakturm")

    die Flaktürme (the "Flakturm"s)

I saw it in several videos, that the level was called "der Flaktürme" or anything like that.... bullshit ;-)

  • those towers wer standing in berlin and the red army did destroy 2 of the four towers and the other 2 out of action

  • So far, this is my favorite

  • was there a "Flakturm" really?

    I can't imagine that...

and the idea of attacking this monster with paras is too dumb for a real army^^

  • npt just one, but three giant fortresses built aout of concreet and steel... one of the last places to surrender in Europe.

  • whoa three?

didnt know that there were such artillery- AA- Towers

  • well, there was, and the falkturm in Medal of honor is real.

the germans were masterbind of that!

  • I think you´re right, because it´s stupid to attack a massive fortress, wich is designed to shoot down everything in the air, with planes.

  • the warhawk strike on an 88 flak gun isn't as good, too^^

    but I think the 88 wasn't manned

der Luftangriff auf die 88 Flak ist sicher auch nicht so gut, aber ich glaub die war nicht bemannt...

  • there were hundreds of flak towers during ww2

  • "Flak" means "Flugabwehrkanone" - in english: anti aircraft gun.

    "Turm" means tower.

So it's a tower with anti aircraft guns on the top - a "Flakturm".

  • @SgtMattBaker1944 deutschland :D:D:D haha bin türke^^

i love this game... but the elite troop is wolfenstein like :/ stange... :/

  • @SgtMattBaker1944 Are you englisch or german?

  • German

  • @SgtMattBaker1944 na dann ises ja einfach das den Englischen zu erklären, ich dachte du währst auch engländer

  • xDD achso... naja kommt drauf an ob sie's verstehen.

  • It's strange to me that this is called "Das Flakturn". I always associated this track with the Operation Husky mission in Adanti, Sicily because it plays during that mission.

  • Actually, it could just be on it in a last-minute change. This could have been the one in the first level.

  • What the h3ll does Der Flakturm means anyway?

  • the flak tower

(flak is the stuff shot at planes in ww2)

  • omg... it's not das Flakturn it's DER FLAKTURM xD whatever^^

  • @drizzid the MISSION is der Flakturm, the SONG is das flakturn. Def the hardest level ;)

  • @MechWomanWarrior15 Indeed. :D

  • @drizzid No. The official trackname is "Das Flakturn". (Check Itunes if you don't believe me.). The name of the track is spelled with an "N" and not with an "M" like the german word flakturm. (Don't ask me why michael giacchino named it flakturn and not flakturm ;)).

  • @ultddave I think people who can speak german are in advantage. But i also thought the trackname was ,,Der Flakturm´´^^
