I agree with everyone, flashback song, an under-rated song...a memory of 1981 and a certain person....she turned me on to this, the kings "the beAt goes on/switchin' to glide", tarney spencer "no time to lose"...and a group named kyakk, KUDOS! aALL PLAYING ON 102.3...WBAB LONG ISLAND. BOB BUCKMAN....LONG LIVE!!!!!!!! & GOODTIMES OF COMMACK.
One of the best produced songs of the 80's and one of the most underrated. If these guys would have gotten out of the studio long enough to promote it on shows like Solid Gold and American Bandstand, it would have been a much bigger hit.
Just spent a couple hours going through all my cassettes from the 70s and 80s, found this song on one of them and can't believe it's here on You Tube! I just love hidden gems such as this. Radio ruled in the late 70s/early 80s, and the music did, too. Love it!
Great tune- takes me back to my first year in college, and getting ready to move back east(to college) Thank you for bringing back all of those wonderful memories of great times! Great post as well!
Listen for great music like this on a new radio station called "OffTheCharts" - featuring 70's (and some 80's) lost hits and chart wonders!
Go to Live365.com, type OFFTHECHARTS in the Search box and click on the station logo. The audio stream should begin. Become a VIP member and listen commercial free!
Hit #22 in Billboard. 1 hit wonder in the top 40. God bless! Incidentally, whatever happened to the posts from ralph1998? They suddenly seemed to have vanished. What's goin' on with that!
Great song from the debut album by BALANCE, a pop rock group from New York city fronted by singer Peppy Castro. This song was their most noteworthy hit,in 1981.
I miss this song.I haven't heard this song in ages! Brings back the memories.
