Umm.. This was Wolverine solo movie, not X-Men4, but still they putted too much characters. Only few worked for the story.

They should hired X-2 writers! At least they understood Wolverine story and these flashbacks worked very well!! Comics wasn`t for young kids and and first X films either. It always harm a movie when filmmakers want to make film for everyone, especially movies like Wolverine.

Prequels always harm a whole trilogy/saga if they don`t follow that formula what others started!!

well the problem with the plot is a few things a) a revenge film with no real motive if its taken away near the end when they say she didn't die

b.) to many characters with no need for

c.) its too jumpy at times

D.) to much jumping from one action scene to another instead of letting the story play its self out

e.) certain characters have no motive for being there

f.) some of the themes of the film addressed in the film are poorly executed

and thats just the problems with the plot overall

I just saw the movie and I have a question. WHy does Sabertooth not remember Wolverine in X-men 1? I can understand why Cyclops doesn't remember Wolverine. Cyclops was blindfolded when he first met Wolverine. But that doesn't explain Sabertooth not remembering Wolverine. Or maybe he does slightly. Perhaps that is why he takes Wolverine's tags. Maybe Stryker did something to Sabertooth to make him forget.

The movie is good, if you forget some of the blatant continuity alterations. I choose to forget about the comics while watching the fox versions of Marvel comics. If I didn't I'd have screamed at all the things they did wrong.
