Hi, thanks for posting this. I was there that day and sat next to a lovely lady from Melbourne and had a nice chat with her. Chris was in fine form and his portrayal of John Lennon is "Fantastic!"

I think Chistopher Eccleston is a great actor but his performance playin John Lennon was just awful, he looked like Worzel Gummage and sounded like Paul O'grady, and yes he was suposed to be playin a 23 year old when he is....? well I dont know how old he is, early 40s mabey?

@MOONST0MP Eccleston is more and more miscast these days. I could see him playing Lennon in 1980, but no way in the 1960s.

@JuanMacready It must be hard playin a rock star but this was the worst I have seen yet, I thought the guy who played Johnny Rotten in 'Sid and Nancy was bad, also the bloke who played Shaun Ryder in '24 hour party people' but this was worse. I think the best performance I have seen was Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in 'The Doors' he got him spot on and Val Kilmer isnt really a good actor but he played Jim Morrison perfect.

@Pioqua I don't speak Italian, but I think I understand the question. Christopher Eccleston has played John Lennon in a BBC TV movie called "Lennon Naked" that will be on BBC4 in June 2010. I went to an advance preview. And yes, he is beautiful. :)
