Hi Liz~ Miss your videos! Ques- I use a good blowdryer and straightner, I have hair like yours and find it hard for it not to get frizzy during HUMID weather. I use the morrocan oil also, what do you suggest? TY ;)
Should the blow drying round brush technique be used on natural tightly coiled, kinky African American hair? What technique won't pull my hair and cause breakage? The round brush, paddle brush, vent brush or comb attachment?
@everagej I don't suggest blow drying hair like the video if it is extremely curly.I rather you would dry it under a dryer half way dry and use a paddle brush to dry the rest and then flat iron it. I don't think it should be done often. When this is done use a good protector for the hair. No round brush for hair that is very tight curl. You can cause breakage when you are puling it to get it straight.
Hey, Liz. You're the best. I was so excited when you opened a youtube account!! But, you said you didn't advice this technique on relaxed hair. What kind of drying procedures do you recommend for relaxed hair? Thanks Liz :-)
@p00ki3luv09 If you roll the brush tighter and high against the root it will straighten it out. You can also use some hydrating creme from moroccan oil company or a form of straightening anti frizz agents and it will help you out. good luck
The great thing about what I do is that I can be creative. This is why I chose to do different styles and different types of hair.I have been very fortunate to have worked with many great hair stylist who taught me to touch so many textures and types of hair. In the future i will have videos that deal with different textures of beautiful hair. I hope everyone will enjoy. : D
Liz just said she does not recommend this technique on relaxed hair. If you're looking for a safe technique on transitioning hair, she has a video on that. If you have relaxed hair, rollerset, it's much better for your hair. Besides the round brush would be basically the same method on relaxed hair, or natural hair, it's just not the healthy choice for these types of hair. Thanks for the video Liz!
Liz this is the best video on youtube explaining blow drys! Thank you so much for taking the time to make it, I appreciate it.
