And by the way, the fact that McKee doesn't slap like Miyavi doesn't mean he can't. Andy McKee's songs are way better than Miyavi. There's this thing called "feeling" that you have to have when playing guitar. That's the reason Santana or Slash are so good, and that's the reason of why McKee is better than Miyavi by light years.

Miyavi is a slapping beast, and I've seen both Andy and Justin, and I find I can't agree with you. But, I'm not saying they are bad. Have I seen people who can slap just as well as Miyavi? Only one, a late great bass player from Japan.

@Ogumomaru I've seen plenty of Batio's music. When I was younger, I stumbled upon a guitar teaching DVD of his, and as I got curious, I listened and watched plenty of his stuff. And, let me tell you, he's not THAT great. Takasaki owns them all. But, I must say, as he gets older, his stuff doesn't sound good anymore, either....

He is a slapping beast. Yeah. I saw him, and would I be wrong in saying they're both "slapping beasts?" I don't think so.

Slash plays very orthodox style, Mark is good with fingers, But Miyavi is in a whole different dimension, and dare I say... I like him better than two.
