We found our copy of "Sing Sing Sing" on "the Best of GENE KRUPA." A note written by Jack Maher from the back cover: "It stands as THE monumental breakthrough for all drumming. It kicked off Krupa's career as a star when he was with the Benny Goodman band in 1935 and made a place for the extended drum solo in popular music."
Would you post the recording you have, without the dialog from Sea Patrol? We have the 2nd album of "The Best of Count Basie" & I can't find this version.
