I liked the way Davros recognised Sarah Jane instantly. She was the first person to see him and she saw him before the Dr did back in Genesis. I liked How Rose got her man. Martha and Micky obviously join up with torchwood crew, that's cool. Davros gets the one up on the Dr by telling him he turns people into murderers. The story arc for Donna was excellent. That's all good. Killing Davros again and Every dalek was boring and predictable.

I assumed the reason rose is the walls between the different universes, the different parallel worlds if you will, are collapsing. When Canary Warf happened, Pete's world was frying up like an egg just because of the cracks between universes. Imagine if it had shattered. My $0.02 is as follows: For the regeneration, when The Doctor got shot by the Dalek, only half of his body lit up, as opposed to the entire body of everyone else, so perhaps that means it won't be a full regeneration? If it's not a full generation, in the event they don't bring Tennant back for season 5, they'd be able to write it off as being an unstable regeneration, forcing its way into full regeneration at the beginning. Guardians were some Time Lord gods-thingies which were from the Tom baker Era - creatures so powerful they could stop a Tardis in flight.

Anyway, they effectively killed Donna anyway - just erasing her memory so the well-rounded character we grew to love in S4 was replaced by the shallow Christmas Specialfiller instead. well as far as how did rose come through from pete's world,that's easy,as it's explained in the stolen earth. the reason she was able to go to "donna's world (turn left)" is that the space between universes is collapsing. also the torchwood on her world is somehow able to develop the technology to travel to them. once donna restores "the doctor's" universe,rose is able to there. somehow the whole bad wolf thing plays a role in this,but rose may or may not become the bad wolf once again. now RUN!

The Doctor ran away from that "shared suffering" - once when leaving Gallifrey the first time, twice more to escape being made President, three times during return visits for other reasons, and once when blowing the place up. During his time on the run, The Doctor has scoffed and condemned those Time Lords who adhered to the Code. Shada and Five Doctors deal heavily in Forbidden Knowledge and rejected history, so it is clearly neither common nor shared.

If there are other Time Lord prison planets, similar to Shada, the Time Lords inprisoned there would likely have never heard of the Time War and probably have forgotten about Gallifrey too. Rassilon is in an isolated bubble universe and would likewise never have heard of the Time War. I can just imagine The Doctor telling Rassilon he's not a Time Lord because he didn't share in the suffering. Rassilon would be having Donna Kebabs and Roast Doctor for a week.

The assumption that she "regenerated" is based on her breathing out some gas. She didn't burst into light like they do upon regenerating. Also you forget that Gallifreyans can live on one heart, shut down their hearts, and enter healing trances where they seem very dead. What she did wasn't a regeneration. What the Doctor is doing, if not regeneration, we'll find out, but this is something new all together. What Jenny did is not unique at all and is not regeneration.
