I had a song that was on BET's Honors awards posted with pics from my phone. It was removed, along with others who posted actual video. HOWEVER THERE ARE A BUTT LOAD OF OTHER POSTINGS FROM THIS SAME SHOW STILL POSTED AND NOT REMOVED. WHY? This artist was not and is not a Viacom artist.
how many law suits of corporations suing a person who downloaded 10-30 songs to pay for damages preemptively , that means there were no damages proven, other than what they could have lost from potentially 30 fkn downloads....

jeez, I downloaded the trailer from STEAM, and there's no steam logo inside the trailer.. BLOCKED! ok, let's edit this video (coz sometimes it works).. You can deny You Tube to hand over your personal information. We're the third party in this case and have rights too. Viacom is only entitled to information about users that have uploaded a viacom content video. The rest of us must give our consent before they can take our information, but they just can't bother to ask us. Write You Tube and tell them you forbid them to share your information with viacom, they're requierd by law to respect your veto, unless you uploaded viacom crap in the past.

By what i"ve learned Viacom wants to kill anything and everything that people use, as long as it is using their content. Some people have had their videos removed because of Viacom and the video had nothing to do with them. The pricks at Viacom seem like they just want to destroy freedom of Speech. I already decided to boycott Viacom as soon as I heard this news last week. I've also done my best to get all my friends and family to do so. I understand that it is unlikely they will use this information for any purposes other than this case, but there is NO REASON to ask for non-anonymized IPs and usernames.
