@ZenMonkey81 actually, about three years ago I read of a 17 yr old SKINNY size 8 (Australian) woman who had no idea she was pregnant, and mistook her contractions as period pains because she had never had a period prior to conception. The baby grew up her spine rather than outward so she had no weight gain, no symptoms, just had a baby one day. It's not just because they're fat, so stop being a judgemental dick.
This is quite a mystery. I mean, how can they not experience any symptoms? I have a cousin that all of a sudden went through this too back in 2007. Luckily, she was able to give birth safely and my nephew turned out okay. But still, don't they experience at least one or two symptoms that could prompt them to suspect that they're carrying a baby. I suppose this is more common in overweight women like my cousin was/is, but she's not as huge and round as as those women above and Rosanne Barr.
Omfg my cousin well soon to be through marriage didn't know she was pregnant she carried the baby for about 8 months and just found out Tuesday she was pregnant and had to have the baby removed today because apparently there wasn't enough water in the sac thing you know that carries the baby and so the baby is only 3 pounds and a month premature.

Some women dont gain enough weight 2 tell they are pregnant n some women dont have symptoms at all until delivery. If u actually listen 2 the stories u know the reasons they didnt know they was pregnant. Some of these women actually went 2 the doctor n the doctor either didnt check 4 pregnancy or didnt detect pregnancy because their hormone levels are so low the test cant detect. Though a blood hcg would have told them.
i should have sold my story because i had a hard stomach all the pregnancy syntomes so i did a test in hosptal and one i bought and both negative then gave birth 3 months later but no huge baby bump for me untill i had my twins

The only thing that caught my attention was the rapid movements in my belly! I panic because I never felt anything like that, so it scared me. After a while, I convinced myself, it was muscle spasms, but my grandmother made me go to the clinic at my school because she thought I was coming down with a fever (all because I got hot and wanted the fan on or the oven off). While I was there, I took a pregnancy test too. And the doctor confirmed I was 3 months pregnant.

However, I been had lower back pains for more than a 2 years so that was not unusual. And my legs and feet just started swelling up last spring so that was not unusual. And the queasiness came and go regularly for more than a year too so that didn't alarm me neither.
It is very easy to not know your pregnant. If you have irregular periods or continue to get your period, then you would NEVER think TWICE that you are pregnant. And if you are overweight, it's very hard to tell if you are or not. For instance, I'm 5 months pregnant! I'm 5'4, weighing 154, and I'm STILL getting my period! My belly does not even show! One of my co-workers who is very skinny has a basketball belly at 2 months!

People on here are way too critical of these women. When my mother became pregnant with her third child, she was still having her period and had no signs of pregnancy except some weight gain. She had a blood test done which came back negative even though she was 4 months pregnant at the time. She insisted on an eternal exam not because she knew she was pregnant but because she was hoping to be. Had she not done this, she could have been like one of these women going into labor unexpectedly.

You CAN have a period when you're pregnant. I had one with my second child. These doctors only believe what they've learned from the books they read in med school, not from what's actually happening in reality! I know of a lady who didn't know she pregnant, her baby was born healthy and she was 120 lbs throughout her entire pregnancy. It's possible and It CAN happen.

Look if you missed your periods and the tests come out negative just go to the doctor for blood test. It's 100% correct. Home test can be false cause sometimes there isn't enough HCG in your urine.
I was on birth control and had my period for the first three months of my pregnancy with my first child. I can honestly say that if i hadnt missed that period on the 4th month who knows if i would have realized i was pregnant! Also for the haters, with both of my pregnancies the baby moving was a tiny flutter every now and then untill the first stages of labor!! It could be mistaken for gas!

I had a friend who's mom died of cancer. The next year she started feeling weird and thought for sure she had cancer as well and got a whole bunch of testing done, and the tests revealed that she was 7 months pregnant- surprise!

Some of the women in this show in particular only have a couple of signs. Don't listen to the ignorant people on here. Go to the doctor to be safe. i know this sounds silly but personally i experienced this. i didnt know i was pregnant. i was having sexual contact with my bf and i used DEPO its injectable and one cant have period for 3 months. instead of waiting for my period before injecting another round i inject myself again.. 2 more depo that counts to 9 months in all.
then i got severe stomach ache for 3 days. and thats the time i went to hospital got my ultrasound and we found out i was pregnant and about to gave birth.

The only thing that caught my attention was the rapid movements in my belly! I panic because I never felt anything like that, so it scared me. After a while, I convinced myself, it was muscle spasms, but my grandmother made me go to the clinic at my school because she thought I was coming down with a fever (all because I got hot and wanted the fan on or the oven off). While I was there, I took a pregnancy test too. And the doctor confirmed I was 3 months pregnant.

And I did not get the normal signs of pregnancy as most pregnant women do. The only signs I can recall were lower back pains, swollen feet and legs, queasy, and heartburn. However, I been had lower back pains for more than a 2 years so that was not unusual. And my legs and feet just started swelling up last spring so that was not unusual. And the queasiness came and go regularly for more than a year too so that didn't alarm me neither.

It is very easy to not know your pregnant. If you have irregular periods or continue to get your period, then you would NEVER think TWICE that you are pregnant. And if you are overweight, it's very hard to tell if you are or not. For instance, I'm 5 months pregnant! I'm 5'4, weighing 154, and I'm STILL getting my period! My belly does not even show! One of my co-workers who is very skinny has a basketball belly at 2 months!

I didnt have any symptoms except i stopped having my period but that was usual to skip a couple here and there for me and i also gained some weight i had no other signs at all no cravings or anything not all people get the symptoms so stop taking the crap :)

People on here are way too critical of these women. When my mother became pregnant with her third child, she was still having her period and had no signs of pregnancy except some weight gain. She had a blood test done which came back negative even though she was 4 months pregnant at the time. She insisted on an eternal exam not because she knew she was pregnant but because she was hoping to be. Had she not done this, she could have been like one of these women going into labor unexpectedly.

Some women have really messed up menstrual cycles so that tip would not work, some are overweight so the weight gain does not tip them off, some already have hormone up and downs each month so that BIOLOGICAL change would not matter. @tigercub888 My friend had a tumor on her ovary the size of a baked potato. That is about the size of a 6 month old fetus. I did not feel my baby move until my 8th month of pregnancy. I KNEW I WAS pregnant but I can see this happening.

You CAN have a period when you're pregnant. I had one with my second child. These doctors only believe what they've learned from the books they read in med school, not from what's actually happening in reality! I know of a lady who didn't know she pregnant, her baby was born healthy and she was 120 lbs throughout her entire pregnancy. It's possible and It CAN happen.

Look if you missed your periods and the tests come out negative just go to the doctor for blood test. It's 100% correct. Home test can be false cause sometimes there isn't enough HCG in your urine.

I was on birth control and had my period for the first three months of my pregnancy with my first child. I can honestly say that if i hadnt missed that period on the 4th month who knows if i would have realized i was pregnant! Also for the haters, with both of my pregnancies the baby moving was a tiny flutter every now and then untill the first stages of labor!! It could be mistaken for gas!

I had a friend who's mom died of cancer. The next year she started feeling weird and thought for sure she had cancer as well and got a whole bunch of testing done, and the tests revealed that she was 7 months pregnant- surprise!

Some of the women in this show in particular only have a couple of signs. Don't listen to the ignorant people on here. Go to the doctor to be safe. i know this sounds silly but personally i experienced this. i didnt know i was pregnant. i was having sexual contact with my bf and i used DEPO its injectable and one cant have period for 3 months. instead of waiting for my period before injecting another round i inject myself again.. 2 more depo that counts to 9 months in all.
then i got severe stomach ache for 3 days. and thats the time i went to hospital got my ultrasound and we found out i was pregnant and about to gave birth.

This is just for media attention.
