  • This was a waste of time.

  • I can't believe you actually call this the worst crash ever. This is f****ng crap. I've seen worse crashes in cadet karts. This video was a waste of time, Go get some real karts and race at a real track, then show me a crash. F****ng hillbillies!

  • @baileyiacb Hey. Punkfag. Did you read? Nope. It says worst crash taped on *our* track. Did you watch our 90+ other videos to see what we do? 10-15 minute race videos showing race talent? Nope? So for one, you are an illiterate son of a b!tch. These are real karts, real racers, but you are NOT a real man, punk. Say that to our faces. No, you won't because you are a limp-wristed mommy-hugger in your dad's basement who gets molested daily. Take your frustrations out on your parents, or get a life.

  • @baileyiacb Also, we're waiting for you.

  • Again: READ the info, WATCH some of our 90+ other videos BEFORE you make lame comments like baileyiacb = mommy's lil' embarrassment/wanna-be driver/wanna-be tough guy mocking other people's work. Real drivers know driving talent when they see it. We have kart champions, Pure Stock drivers, STreet Stock champions, SBS drivers, Supermodified drivers all saying the same - we get more fun and pure racing skill in our backyard track than most high-end pay tracks. But be a baileyiacb and get blasted.

  • @baileyiacb We've raced at real tracks, wannabe. 2 of the 3 in the crash - Kyle Reuter & Matt Stevens - have more wins, trophies, and track championships in Quarter-Midgets, WKA Stock Methanol Flathead, WKA Stock Methanol Animal, Gas Flathead 1-WDs that you could probably dream of. They've won on dirt, asphalt, pay tracks, backyard tracks. WTF have U won? The award 4 the most annoying wannabe? Did you even watch our 200 lapper? Real racers don't make snarky comments about other people's racing.

  • @baileyiacb Most of these guys also race OTHER cars too. Several from Oswego Speedway have raced here & have said "I have more fun racing these cheap karts than my real race car!" I already mentioned how 2 of the drivers in this wreck have won countless features in karts (these and others). Kyle Reuter has been the undisputed king of Oswego Kartway's premiere division since 2008. Matt Stevens has won over 100 features on 2 tracks since 2000. How many of our vids did you watch? Loser.

  • @ChrusherComix You have blown this crap way out of proportion guy. I do and have raced, since 1993. I have won many races including past championships in karts. 1995 Brazil Jr. sportsman champ, 1996 Columbus raceway 2 class champ(Yamaha jr., and gold plate) 1997 16 out of 19 races enterend I won, MIKA series champ. 1998 SIRA 2nd in points for gold plate 1999 KKA, (now KDKA) sr. med champ 2nd in points for lights, 1999 winner at Zinger (before it was washed away) of WKA man. cup driving for Ult

  • @ChrusherComix ramax chassis and Smith Brothers Racing. In 2000 I starting racing dirt late models and placed 9th in the NALMS (northern all star late model series). In 2001 I worked and raced with CJ Rayburn, all over the united states before the "hava-tampa" show became the "world of outlaw late model series". I have raced on and off my whole life and with some of the best drivers who are now at the highest levels of racing. I'm not braging, I just want you to know I'm not some punk who

  • @ChrusherComix doesn't know what I'm talking about. All I was trying to say is that was a very, very mild crash. If you don't believe me, call some people, look around on the net, I'm not bull***ting you. My name Is Dallas Bailey, I live just south of Indianapolis IN. I was just trying to say that was a very, very week crash period. You know it too. Yes, I did watch some of your other vids. The 200 lapper wasn't bad.

  • @baileyiacb Thank you for naming yourself and stating your case. We get a lot of punks who just check out one of my old crash videos from 4 years ago (like this one), $#it on us and leave. We put a lot of time and effort into making our own karting division from scratch and none of us like it when people who want to spend a few grand on a go-kart don't like that we get the same competition and fun for 1/10th the cost. We met them in person at local tracks... they just don't like it.

  • @baileyiacb Now, I disagree that it was a weak crash. Any crash where there is significant bruising and a chance of serious injury is a rough one. The video quality, if anything, is poor (lack of light and highly compressed from the DVD source material). (cont.)

  • @baileyiacb Half of my brother's leg was bruised. He did a 180 in mid air, and the kart landed on his leg. Fred, the one who got hit had his helmet bounce off of the motor. The 3rd member, Kyle, who has dominated every class he has entered from Quarter-Midgets to WKA Stock Mediums (well, he didn't dominate ours, but has won with us as well), and is seeking an Oswego Speedway Supermodified ride. These guys are great drivers, and putting them down because of my poor video quality is just rude.

  • @baileyiacb I appreciate the comment about the 200-lapper. The newest vids from the past couple of years are of higher quality. I work on them all the time & put a lot of effort into them, so I do take offense when they get attacked. This very video, however, was selected by a producer by Nash Entertainment for inclusion on one of their wild crash video shows that air on truTV in 2008. So not everyone feels that it's weak. We aren't going 75-100 and piling into stands though, I'll give you that.

  • @baileyiacb I've also won around 60 features, 5 track titles & 4 annual championship races on 2 local tracks. My brother has won over 100 features, 11 track titles and 10 championships on the same. We've been racing karts since 1990, for points since 1995. We never put down any other racing division, so we are always baffled when others do so to us. Rest assured, anybody who races with us (including pro drivers at Oswego Speedway) know we are real racers and have a lot of fun for low budget.

  • go Fred go!

  • @Mr6lbR: Haha! Hey, do you know Fred? He didn't race with us once in 2010 (and he won 2 races in 2009)!

  • @Mr6lbR Hey there... if you know Fred and can contact him, please do so on our behalf. He always calls in the winter and hasn't showed up for a race in 2 years. We want him out there!

  • Oww, lol was everyone okay?

  • @skatersRgay1993: One driver (my brother) got a nasty bruise in his inner thigh, and he was fairly shaken up (tough kid usually nothing phases him). Even though one guy's head whip-lashed pretty bad, he was A-OK. The third guy got a small bruise on his leg, but he played college basketball then so it worried him a bit. All in all, we're thankful that this is the worst wreck and we haven't had one this scary since. (Building the karts lower to the ground and making slicks mandatory has helped).

  • @ChrusherComix Okay good, I love watching crashes but hate seeing get seriously hurt. Glad everyone was alright.

  • @skatersRgay1993 Yep, and racing these things, I don't want anybody getting hurt either. Check out all my vids, almost all of them have crashes (and no injuries)! I'm going to make a few soon, I've been behind updating them. Thanks for watching!

  • Again, I have over 80 videos of our club's racing up since 2007, with weekly highlight reels after every race (when I have the time to edit and upload them), so please view more, I have no idea why this one gets 80,000+ views and my others (better videos, IMO) get like 50-200 view. Strange.

  • @ChrusherComix People love to see wrecks.

  • @NCPilot: That's true, but most if not all of my 80+ other race videos have wrecks, too - and many in higher quality, too (this one was hard to see at night). I guess I'll have to put "wreck", "crash", and "flip" in every one of them so people will be more inclined to check them out.

  • hahaha blammmmmmm

  • @devenx46 PEANUT BUTTER AND JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

  • heiauf der suche nach jemanden der mich von meiner andauernden einsamkeit erlösen kann

  • @MeredithWollm75 WOT IN THA FOCK?!

  • @MeredithWollm75 Hitler gets youtube in hell?

  • Yeah I get that it's "slow form", and all that, but I do think it's a little over hyped... Does look like you guys have some fun though. Wish I could join you guys.

  • Thanks. We welcome people all the time.

(Haha, BTW, I'm the only person promoting Galletta's racing here and my website, so I must be doing some serious hyping! :) I think you mean the Clones are overhyped? I noticed a serious push on that class myself.)

  • No actually I was talking about the crash... Sorry, I can see where you would get the wrong idea. I wasn't very clear... I have personally been in many spectacular crashes of all types, so I'm a pretty harsh critic.

  • Ah, ok! I see what you are talking about. Well, the video has MANY more hits than my 70 others, which, IMO, are better (the featured one in my profile is my favorite so far).

I guess everybody sees "Worst Crash Ever Taped" and miss "at Galletta's Backyard Speedway" and compare it to severe crashes of larger motor vehicles. Thank God, in 20 years of racing karts on this track, this is the worst wreck we've ever had, and have put more safety features into the karts and the flagging.

  • Actually, according to where your profile says you live, you aren't all that far away from us to try it once sometime, but too far to race weekly, for sure. Anyway, thanks again for the comments!

  • Yeah, again, sorry about that. I really should do a better job of updating my site... I consider Addison my home town, though I haven't been there in many years. I am currently on the exact opposite side of the planet right now, in Indonesia. When I'm done here, I will go back home to Maui. Though if find myself in your neck of the woods, (as I may later this year, or the bigining of next), I'll definitely let you know.

  • Ah, cool! My wife's from Thailand, and I lived there for a month a few years back. I loved it there and can't wait to visit again. Next time you might be anywhere near Oswego, by all means try to come up and make a race! Thanks again!

  • Cool, I really want to see more of Thailand, (I've only been there for a week, (Bangkok) and was on business, so didn't get to see much...). The people I found to be great, and the photos I have seen from the place... I would really like a chance to explore the place more. Though I don't think it's going to happen on this trip. I've been here for just over a year, and probably have another 6 months to go, and doubt very highly I will get much "exploring time". But I would love to race your track

  • Most of my time there was spent in Phitsanulok and Sukhothai where my wife lived, but I was only in Bangkok for a short time during my stay myself. I was also on the southern border near Malaysia going snorkle diving on the beaches of the Surin islands, a paradise! Absolutely beautiful there!

  • why are they going the wrong way???

  • They are single-wheel drive. The weight of the kart is balanced on the left-rear side of the kart, and they are staggered to race clockwise. It isn't really the wrong way, much like a road course isn't the wrong way, either.

The track itself is slightly inclined which makes the karts quicker and handle better turning right as well. 2-WD karts are welcome to try the track and turn left.

Our class baffles many, but it as as fun as affordable as any karting class out there.

  • oh alright i get it now

  • cool

  • This slow form of racing is really catching on across the country. The neatest thing about it is it's afordability. My only question is "do you make the racers sign an insurance waiver?" It seems to me that the person who owns the property the track is on is subject to a huge amount of liability.

  • Yes, we've been racing these karts on this track for 20 years & - thank God - we've never had a serious injury, & only one person breaking a couple bones. Every driver has signed a liability waiver + Under NY State Recreational Use Law, the property owners aren't liable for an accident that takes place on their property unless they are charging money for use of the land. We charge no money to race - we are all family & friends. The track & karts are all run via donations for maintenance & gas.

  • PS - "Slow form" - Actually, the karts are a second or so quicker since implementing race cams. This video is taken when they were box stock with shaved heads. We also lowered the center of gravity by lowering the frames as an added measure of defense against flipping.

  • While your karts aren't the finely tuned machines such as a Margay or say a Tony kart, they don't come with the lofty price tags that such karts do either. Making the class as equal as possible makes it more fun for everyone. The guy who thinks smarter will go faster with minimal investment. What's not to like about that!

  • Yep... Someone who gets it! That's exactly what we aim for! We build our own karts in our own garages, allow for innovation, and keep a price tag on everything in order to make sure everything is affordable and the motors & speeds are equalized. It makes for always a tough, competitive race, and a win takes experience, skillful driving and is always hard-earned. Thanks for the comments! I wish there were more people like you on YouTube... too many just bash and troll mindlessly. Thanks again!

  • It is somewhat comical to me how some low-IQ dolts misread this video and rate it poorly. Get a clue. It was the worst crash videotaped at this particular 1-WD Gas Stocker Backyard Speedway. It's not supposed to be the worst crash in the history of the world. Got it? So, rate it poorly, and confirm yourself as a cock-knuckle to me. Or, try watching my 60-70 other videos, understand it is what we do (professional kart racing at yard kart prices) and rate it nicely. Your choice. Thanks.

  • Wow that crash was shit. :L lmfao

  • No, someone who posts nerdy gamer videos and thinking they aren't lame-ass pussy shit is lmfao hilarious. Dumbass. Try racing one instead of playing video games and watching YouTube videos all day, loser. :P

  • How do you do the gps thing ? We measured our track around the groove and used the lap times and we average about 25MPH but it feels like 125 . I just put up a new video called Hot August Nights.

  • One of the guys brought out a GPS and a few of us put it in our pocket and took it out and took laps. During the feature, one of the guys fighting to take the lead got around 49.8MPH. Like I said, when we were box stock, we did the time trails vs. track measurement and were probably about 35MPH.

  • I'm sure it's lite well enough to race I was mostly just joking around . It looks like a pretty fast track . Scoopytown is a track that was built for cheap fun, funny how it is getting faster, more and more expensive and serious each time we get togather. For us , It is a good thing the track is small , It helps to keep the speed down a little, and keep it a little safer. We have about 16 drivers now and it is not open to the public . or we would have 40 by now .

  • Yep, we built Galletta's track for cheap fun as well, as we were all race fans but didn't want to price people out of racing us. We usually have 10-15 weekly racers. And you're right about a smaller track being safer... we used to race at a small track and couldn't quite get to the same speeds we get on our own track. We used a GPS today as an experiment to test top speeds, and the guy who scored 3rd place topped out at approx. 49MPH. When we were box stock, we probably only did about 35MPH.

  • u r?

  • Do the drivers there wear Night Vision Goggles to see where there going ?

  • No, the track is actually well lit. Nobody who has raced it ever complains. The two cameras, however, do NOT pick up the action as well at night, furthered by the low-reolution I used for YouTube, hence its hard to see. The reason this happened is that one driver parked off of the track--and like a "Final Destination" movie--two karts bouced off a third's tire, then happened to hit the retired driver. We've raced hundreds of people in thousands of laps, and this was just a total freak accident.

  • Hey, I see by those Scoopytown Speedway videos that it looks similar to how we race at Galletta's, other than left-turn and being a smaller track. Great stuff!

  • i'm not a fan of speedway circuits as i find they aren't challenging in the slightest way, but nice crash it has to be said, i've had a few in my rotax kart.... though none as big as this thankfully

  • Well, I believe left, right, or both turns, there are challenges in any race track. No matter what kind of a track you run, there's always hitting your marks and learning your lines. Road courses in gereral are more challenging, but this Galletta's Backyard track is a beast all to itself. The conditions on the track have been known to change from hour to hour, so mastery of it is a rare thing indeed.

  • worse could have happened, fortunately it didn't

  • This wreck is pretty much the worse case scenario on our track. Two karts at full speed hit a prone kart. SInce then, we make sure we have enough flaggers to waive the caution. That week was just an anomoly with ZERO volunteers flagging, hence this wreck happened. This whole wreck was a case of a kart staying on the speedway during the race and nobody noticed him until the wreck happened. If he wasn't there, it would have been a regular caution, no problems, and forgotten to this day.

  • OUCCH!

  • It's good to see that everyone involved walked away without any broken bones.

BTW, how many cameras are usually utilized when shooting one of these races?

  • We usually have two, one from a center angle, and one from a tower in the 1st/2nd turn.

  • dude thats a sick backyard track

  • ALL SURVIVE ????

  • Haha, yes, thank God. The only reason it happened is because we did not have enough volunteers to flag. Someone stopped on the track and no caution was thrown. If the stationary guy was not there, there would not have even been a crash.

  • Remember everybody:

    1. This was the worst crash taped at this backyard speedway track at that time (2007). Since then, we had a couple worse wrecks, but they were not captured on video.

    2. They are Gas Stockers, AKA Super Yard Karts. One-wheel-Drive. We race in a points series on two tracks locally. Hybrid between a yard kart and a WKA kart.

    3. See video info for details & our large website.

    4. Any rude or insulting comments will be deleted. Be smart and read before you comment. Thanks!

  • 5. Again, people who just watch thousands of YouTube videos and give negative votes or comments without doing their own videos are losers. If you think this lo-res video sucks, get one of the DVDs and see it in higher resolution. If you get a DVD and still think it sucks, then do better and show me. Rude and insulting comments will not be respected, and will be deleted. Say it to our faces, or STFU. If you have a respectful comment abut our racing videos, then by all means post it. Thanks.

  • ive bin in a worse crash then that but it was good my go cart did 3 flips and 1 cartwheel

  • Cool! Do you have a video of it?

  • no tho i got a a scar from it

  • OMFG did you read? It was the worst crash on that particular KART track caught on tape between 1998-2007. The dark tape means u really can't see it, but at 40MPH, 3 karts collide, one man's body BADLY contorts and a 150 lbs kart lands on his leg bruising it badly. The other man's neck contorts so badly that his helmet rips right off his head and rolls. If you purchased the DVD & viewed it on a large screen, you would see it better. If you've been in worse KART crashes than that, let's see it.

  • OMFG THAT WAS SO TOTALLY not that bad? iv been in a worse crash than tht, although i have been racing since i was 8.

  • Who cares?

  • ok who cares if you were in a worse crash cause

ARENT YOU NOT SUPPOSED TO CRASH

    ????

  • Haha, yes, that's right. The guys in the crash were all trying to win, and just happened to get caught in a bad one. Two of the three guys in the crash are also multi-time champions in karting and quarter-midgets. Great point!

  • It's good to hear about guys like you helping provide and promote an affordable racing series. I've loved racing since I was young (17 now), but due to geographic and financial limitations, I've never touched a kart or race car. However, if I were in the area, I'd buy a used kart and sign up in no time. Stay fast, guys.

  • Thanks! Yes, we love watching races with multi-thousand or even multi-million dollar racing machines too. But anybody who wants to race can just easily build one or rent one of ours, & have all the fun of expensive racing for next to nothing. Our drivers range between 16-56! And, if anybody thinks racing OPEN WHEEL KARTS 35-45mph into a sharp corner (without a seatbelt) with 10 others battling for the same spot is slow, then that means they've never tried it. Thanks for seeing our point. :)

  • Certainly! Single wheel drives do have the distinct advantage of being able to turn on a sharper radius due to one wheel being allowed to spin faster or slower than the other. I was just goofing around earlier. I love all kinds of racing. It's neat that you guys have started a grass roots league of sorts. I am surprised you don't see more of it across the country.

  • Actually, there are. There's a now defunct group in Minnesota (they have some highlights on YouTube of races and some wild flips), one that just started in North Carolina (also on YouTube), and perhaps the biggest and most successful one is rooted in the New England area. They even have branches out into other parts of the USA as well. Their website is Grasspass. Org. Many people don't like the expensive and tedious WKA rules and regulations, and want to just race a little safer and cheaper.

  • Ok, Chris. I owe you an apology for all the negative remarks I have posted earlier. I watched a few of your other videos and have to admit the stuff looks pretty fun...albeit slow. In all honesty, I get the whole affordable for everyone approach. I can relate to the equal equipment rule..It's what made the IROC races so interesting. I have nothing against you or your league. I think we both have wasted enough time with the verbal jousting. All bullshitting aside, good luck in the future!

  • Apology accepted. Thank you for realizing what it is we're trying to do. You're not the first person who initially thought like you did, then comes around to see what we're trying to do and respects it. Equal and affordable racing is our goal.

  • On being slow: We have a pre-set limit on special racing carbs & cut alky for gas which purposefully limits our speed. Our track is not designed for WKA-type flat karts. They can't race it because with their top speed and live "posi" axle; they can't navigate the sharp turns very well after the long straights. They've tried. They'd have to slow to 25-30mph in the turns like we do. But we can (and do) race on tracks designed for WKA.

    Again, thanks for the apology.

  • That's what I thought, coward.

Have you ever raced anything? Except trying to rub one out before your male erotica video clips that you watch gets over?

Keep on thinkin' you're kewl though, haha!

  • My very 1st comment was asking for positive comments, congrats! We are trying to spread the word about our brand of affordable racing. Something that you don't have the balls or skills to do.

  • I hope you have more on raceday than you have here because if not you headed for the pits early

  • Keep dreaming, troll. Keep watchin' YouTube vids, dude! Crank out those witty and well-spelled comments!

  • Well, I probably won't show up because I'm at the opposite end of the country than you and driving that far to be bored out of my skull by your crummy little yard kart league is something I just will not subject myself to. I do wish you the best of luck on Sunday however. If you push you right foot through the floor, you just may squeeze an extra mile per hour or two out of your finely tuned water pipe chassis. Be sure to put some stagger in your drive wheel side. Hammer down!

  • Clever. Same result = No balls, no race, all talk, all loser.

  • Your obvious refusal to admit what we both know about your inconsistancies is ludacris. Have you ever made a believer out of anyone?

  • Learn how to spell.

You never answered me:Have you ever won a race? Strike that... Have you even ever entered a race? LOL!

  • I noticed how you have disabled my comments. Afraid of a little adversity? Haha! Truth be told, thats probably why you don't race the real karts. I noticed how you refused to post my comment on the video hit number status. You are such a faker! I am not the only person on youtube who has you pegged. Besides being a legend in your own mind, you are so easily baited. If you were to ever race a real kart,a simple finger or rude comment would take you out of your game. Keep dreaming.

  • - Please, learn how to read. I already answered your post about YouTube hits.

    - What is a "real" kart? We race guys from other divisions all the time. In fact, we've beat guys with much bigger motors on a regular basis.

    - I only see you commenting negatively.

    - LOL! YOU'RE the one being baited, you old slob. I love crushing 'tards.

    - Real karter? Wow, with hundreds of races under my belt & hundreds of racers, my brother & I are always 1-2.

Try us. Oh, wait, you never will. Just a punk.

  • Reprinting my earlier post:

"I do NOT put videos on YouTube in order to try and get hits, you idiot. YouTube is a free website to host videos, which I embed into my website. I could care less about how many people view my videos, as long as I can embed them on my website."

  • So show up on race day. This SUnday is our 200-lap championship.

    You won't.

Because you are an internet-tough-guy coward.

  • Your karts are slow as hell. Regardless of how you try to portray them as being capable of speeds of 50 mph on your short track or that they turn comparable lap times as a WKA karts, it's total bullshit. You must think the average Joe is as ignorant as you. Your obvious fascination with homosexuality leads me to believe you probably lean that way. 'GAYS IN GO KARTS'. You should write a book. You appear to have hands on experience.

  • 1) On short tracks, they score less than 1 second slower.

    2) On our long track, WKA karts couldn't handle it.

    3) End of the straights in 2008, they go between 45-50mhp. Don't believe us, time us. That tape is from 2007 (we're probably between 40-45).

And, I'm a married man, cocksucker, so stop queerbaiting around here. Not interested.

Plus, try saying that to our faces, coward.

  • Again. Show up.

  • Haha, nice video

  • Airgayer64y.o.punk: Get off of the internet watching YouTube vids all day and night and climb into a racing vehicle of any kind, YouTube-lurking dweeb. If you had any balls you'd make it up here for our 200 lap race.

Oh, wait, never mind, we'll fill karts with real, experienced racers with balls, not internet-tough wankers watching YouTube videos and mocking those who actually race something.

  • Being a pussy that cant ride anything is the worst class of all. and u know something i have raced go karts and fourwheelers and i just won a race with th raptor700 with FMF

so if that makes me a poor trailer dwellng redneck then fine i am one but at least we hav the balls to do sumtin crazy.

  • Thanks. That's right. AirgunnerNintendo64 over there thinks if you can't (or don't want to) race a NASCAR or an Indy 500, you're a slow, poor redneck loser. Most of the big-name drivers started in karts. Tracks all over the world have kart-starter programs. people learn the ropes on kart racing. Or racing ANYTHING. Those Bomber class people he mocks could probably school him in any vehicle he chose, yet, he calls them rednecks.

I'd bet a freakin' house that he'd come in last if he raced us.

  • Ok man. This is all the time I am going to waste on this oudated topic. Don't try to fool anyone by telling them this "horrific" crash occured at speeds anywhere near 50 mph. I saw the video as well as all the other youtube viewers and those karts were going 25 to 30 at best. I'm sure in your mind your type of racing ranks right up there with formula one. To those of us who know what fast is,your tecumseh or briggs powered fun karts are just plain slow. Suck on that you booty bandit!

  • Please. You don't have the balls to climb in one. Your lard ass would get owned. Just go on punking out on YouTube videos all night like the pussy you are, you AIDs-ridden cock guzzler.

Straw-man argument: Kart racing of any type is not Formula-One. Nice trying-to-look-smart there, pansy-ass.

  • To clarify, our top speeds reach between 45mph-50mph. That vid is from '07, and we put more racing cams in them and are faster now - against obvious safety concerns (some of the people are giving up racing for fear of getting hurt). Even so, in that vid, Coming out of the turns they're probably between 30-35mph. Mid-straight, that crash is probably 40mph. Anywhere between 30-50mph without a seatbelt will HURT. Try it, punk.

  • Oh, wait... you're just a Airgunner-Nintendo64 joker. Just keep thinkin' yer kewl, dude!

PS- Booty bandit = WICKED gay insult. What a burn! Woooo, you showed us!

  • It's not about bashing poor people. I'm simply saying your form of single wheel drive karts is similar redneck bomber racing...only on a smaller scale. If you like what you do Pal, then by all means do it. I just think that giving your vid an exciting name like "worst crash ever" simply to ramp up views is typical of alot of posters on youtube. In all honesty, the crash was hardly that spectacular. try going over the bars of your bike after casing it on a set of doubles. now, that's newsworthy!

  • 1. You can't read, can you, fudgepacker? It says: "Worst crash ever at Galletta's Go-Kart Club - 8/26/2007." Take some English lessons for one.

    2. Redneck bomber racing: WTF is that? Who cares about where you and your buddies watch dirt racing and blow each other.

  • 3. The wreck was around 45-50mph without a seat belt, stone cold into a sitting 150 lbs. kart with a 170 lbs. man on it (having his neck whiplash backward and helmet-less head hit the motor), ejected out of his kart and landing on the ground with a 150 lbs. kart falling on top of his leg. All the while with another kart crashing into both.

  • 5. I do NOT put videos on YouTube in order to try and get hits, you idiot. YouTube is a free website to host videos, which I embed into my website. I could care less about how many people view my videos, as long as I can embed them on my website.

  • 4. Do you race ANYTHING airgunner? It appears to me like you have no clue whatsoever. Go on crashing your ass into a bike handlebar and put it on YouTube, and then we can all sit and watch it in awe. Oh, wait... you have no videos.

  • So just keep watchin' videos, dude! And leave the racing to people with balls and talent to actually climb into one of these things and try it. I'd dare say that those rednecks from your local dirt track that you bashed could probably out-race you on their worst day.

  • This crap is the equivelant of going to your local dirt track and watching a bunch of rednecks run in the bomber class. You know what the bomber class is...it's the most boring class of all. Some poor trailer dweller with seven kids and a 71 dodge truck for transportation goes out and spends his familiy's grocery money on a 74 caprice classic to crash into dozens more equally pathetic rednecks. I'm all for trying to keep costs down but I thought the point of racing was to go fast.

  • Duh. The point of motor racing is to race EQUALLY matched vehicles. If it really is equal, the best racer wins. Going as fast as possible within set guidelines. You can race a wheelchair or a race car, it's still a race.

  • So the only race that counts is the fastest and most expensive form? So, racing jet airplanes rock and racing a kart is boring? You race jets or Indy cars & look down on all other forms or something? We race on two local tracks and always put on a hell of a show. Have you ever raced and/or won in anything anywhere?

I notice you bash "poor" people a lot. That is really lame, dude. Do you ever say that to a "trailer park redneck's" face, or just online, with an anonymous user name?

  • Again, think you're all the shit, then try it sometime. I'd bet everything you own that you probably would not only not win, but probably come in last place. I see your types all the time and smoke them. Your trash-talking is often a mask for your insecurity. Keep psyching yourself up by bashing people on YouTube, dude! Way to go! You're the best!

  • this shit is for fags. race real cars pussy.

  • Hey, faggot. Try saying that to our faces sometime. Or are you just a pussy punk who hides behind an internet name that has fudgepacker written all over it. Try us sometime. Punk

  • PS - We HAVE racers who race REAL race cars (not your fake gaming shit) in addition to our karting league. Each & every one of them say to a man how tough our racing is. One, who has some fame racing Supermodifieds (look it up if you don't know) in both the US and Canada, said that we are CRAZY racing these karts at the speeds we race them. If you have balls, join us & race. If you don't, go on with your weak-humor ebonics-speak & anonymous punk scribes on video sites across the internet.

  • Also, before any more idiots post things like "they aren't real race karts" or are "lame", please read the info & stop making fools of yourselves. These are NOT WKA & NOT designed to be as fast. They are single-wheel-drive Gas Stockers; invented in the 90s with rules in place to keep costs & speeds down. We spend thousands less on these than WKA. Yet, we have hundreds of competitors, racers + a COMPLETE stat & info website. Do better, or keep the negative comments to yourselves. Thanks!

  • That was lame with a capital L!

  • You are gay with a capital G!

Come join us for a race sometime.

  • i might start to race these...im 14 and i wanted to know what class id enter into and what is top speed (i have a need for speed)

  • well when u turn 15 u can go into junior unrestriced and the fastest i went was like around 90 at a track in jacksonville you can go faster in enduros but either way its expensive as shit

  • wow that sounds like fun thanks for the feedback, same to you stairiker1

and i know its really expensive my uncle used to race about everything you can think of...

  • These karts max at around 50mph. They run on gas and have strict "stock" rules to make sure costs and speeds are kept down. WKA is far too expensive for the average joe, and WKA rules are out the window with these.

If you bought one of these type karts completely new, they'd cost probably only $500-$700 total. Used, probably $200-300.

  • Yes, expensive. That isn't what our brand of racing is about.

  • Also, if you ask me, spending thousands of dollars and making a young kid or tween go 70-80MPH seems a bit overboard. IMO, start them in a cheap and affordable brand of racing and work them up.

  • but this video isnt really real racing karts so its alot more competitive and faster like at a real kart track

  • You're wrong. These karts ARE racing karts. They are homemade and cost-regulated single-wheel-drive racing karts. This way, you CANNOT buy a win like in so many forms of racing. We race these karts at two tracks. The one you see in the video and Oswego Kartway. These karts are also extremely competitive. They don't go 90 for safety reasons. They can reach about 50mph on gas with 1-wheel-drive. WKA, NKA, and all of these karting classes are faster, yes, but cheaper or more competitive, no way.

  • PS - You won't find a more competitive bunch than these guys, either. Come and try it sometime. We race at two karting tracks all summer in Central NY.

  • You have to be an adult to race these. And be in Oswego, NY twice a week.

  • These guys put their lives on the line, racing at unbelieveable speeds and trusting in the advanced but still experimental technology of the machines. Hats off to them!

  • Thanks. These ARE experimental, as we do not use "cookie cutter" racing chassis and $3,500 motors and WKA rules. These are invented with the sole purpose of affordable racing. Problem is, rich WKA snobs think they're better racers just because their equipment is more expensive. Come on out anytime, hop into one, and we'll see who is a better racer when you can't out-spend your fellow driver.

  • go to this youtube video advanced

Aug. 18 Jr. 2 Heat Race Ben Hur Speedway

  • my buddy nick dann races there, i might be renting a cart and coming out and racing sometime :)

  • Yeah, Nick finally won at Oswego Kartway, but he still has chain problems at Galletta's. He has to solve them before he can get a win here. Come on out! We always need more guys renting AND bringing their own karts. With our dad retiring, one driver jumping ship to OHV karts, and another graduating to methanol, our driver count has been down, so we need new recruits! So let us know. We'd want karts filled at both Oswego AND Galletta's, so call us or call Nick. TTYL!

  • BTW, we only have a few more races this year. You and Nick going to try and make it?

  • no offense but that sucked

  • No offense, but you suck, punk.

  • Nice sucky vlog! Haha!

  • LOL! I see your one gay video got removed. Copyrighted fight clips? Smooth, gayboi! Nice work! Haha!

  • Gay. Go watch more gay strippers dance Mr. Fay Got.

  • Still waiting for you to join us racing.

  • Hi!

No, this track is found at Galletta's Greenhouse Backyard Karting Speedway at Oswego, NY (Google us "Galletta's Karting Club" or check this video's info for our official website). The same people and karts also race at Oswego Kartway too, but the track is smaller, the speeds are lower, and the crashes less fantastic there.

  • this isnt the track outbakc of the speedway is it? where is this track located?

  • dude, i've seen a worse karting accident than that happen at 20mph, also my first wreck in a senior rotax was worse than this, over £1000 ($2000) worth of damage, and still no broken bones ;)

  • Um, your point is? That at 20mph you can wreck bad? I wouldn't brag if I were you, but let's see it on YouTube. We've been karting for 17+ years, all of these guys have years of racing experience, & this was one of the worst looking accidents in the track's history caught on tape. You can't see this lo-quality clip just how severe it was; 45-50mph & dark. No broken bones in this one either, but 1 month later, one of the guys involved did flip into the woods & broke 5 ribs and a shoulderblade.

  • that looked like it hurt

  • Lmao. Doesn't seem that bad to someone like me who races on a WKA track, but I guess it may have seemed worse when it happened than in video. Espcially that older man I guess. Lol. Try comming and watching the races at Caroga Creek Raceway in Ephrata NY sometime. I think it's like an hr- 2 hrs. away.

  • Yes, the clip is of lo-quality & filmed at night. Bruises, mangled karts, punctured tires. WKA karts are lower to the ground and I've never seen one flip. They also race WKA karts here at Oswego Speedway, which is the other track we race at. People always come up to us & tell us that our gas stock karts ($400-600) put on better shows than WKA class karts ($4000-6000). We get around at times comparable to WKA karts at Oswego. You guys have videos or website?

  • you've never seen WKA karts flip?

all it takes is an idiot braking too early and a little wheel hoppin

  • At Oswego Kartway I've seen them get airborne, but not flip. It is a small track, however, so their speeds are kept on the slow side. I've heard that they can flip though. It's dangerous & painful enough to flip going 45-50mph with a gas stocker motor like these let alone a methanol motor going 60-70mph. One of the reasons why we ban methanol & high $ racing parts is not just to make them affordable, but to keep speeds down. Even so, we had someone with 5 broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade.

  • i dont get it but it was ok i guess

  • Don't get it?

  • lmao

  • Should've seen the size of the bruise on my brother's leg after that one.

  • whoa thats a bad flip and the guy that got hit was he just out because of his engine or brocken piece?

  • He was out because he's in his 60's and he dropped out of the race. The problem was, he illegally parked just a couple of feet off the track, and was in the worst place at the worst time. Check the video's info for more. The website page contains the entire description. Thanks for watching and rating! :)

  • oh yeah i wouldnt want to be that close to the track if i was out

  • Oh, I forgot to add that he was recovering from a broken hip.

  • then why was he in the race in the first place? did he try but he couldnt or something...?

  • Yep. He's a trooper. He loves racing, but he has a plate in his hip.
