  • 0:00 - 0:05 Scott Pilgrim

  • Where are my pants?

    (I Can't find Them!)

  • Damn good classic intro. Why are most things from 70's, 80's and occasionally the 90's always good?

  • June of 1994 my father brings home a Super Nintendo along with this game. Never played a video game before I had no idea what to expect. Turned the game on to the iconic intro, from that day forward it would forever sculpt who I am as a person.

  • A Link to the past after 20 years still and forever shall be my favorite Zelda game in the series.

  • Sword sound is missing...

  • i loved the beginning

  • So good

  • Hail the triforce!

  • I remember when i was little i always started new games in my other files just to read/see the opening story..it was so awesome!! and the music is awesome too! love this game!

  • Such a great game.

  • This song is close to my heart. :D <3

  • whats amazing is that this game is 20 years old...still holds up as one of the best

  • CLASSIC!!!

  • 0:00 to 0:05 = Link to the Past sound effects! I used to call it that when I heard it somewhere else. :D

  • Going from vid to vid of these various versions of the Zelda themes and such, I'm glad to see that even though I (sadly) parted ways with the NES franchises around the time of SNES and the release of Playstation 1 (I was in h.s. and all my friends were moving on to stuff like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy VII, etc.) I'm glad to see that I seem to have at least experienced what many people go back and remember as the best Zeldas-- the original, and A Link to the Past. Both of which I loved.

  • I beat the original Legend of Zelda 36 times. I used to wake up every morning one summer at 6 in the morning, play it, and beat it within 5 hours.

I beat A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, the Wind Waker, and Four Swords 6 times.

I beat Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess three times.

I beat Zelda II twice. (HARD!)

I beat Link's Awakening, Four Swords Adventures, Minish Cap, and Phantom Hourglass once.

Gotta say the original is my favorite. ALLTP is a close 2nd. Now to beat Skyward Sword! :D

  • @faceurhell Good for you. You don't mind doing any Let's Plays, Playthroughs, or Walkthroughs of Zelda Games for all of us here, do you? We'd really appreciate it. :)

    *Can't hear it downstairs*

*Sit back down with humming in sync*

  • epic, that's all I have to say

  • @Linksdunegon Hell yeah yay Zelda music. It rules

  • This is my favourite game of all time.Ocarina of time was good but nostalgia kicks OoT on to the curb

  • Wow... after that opening flourish I was totally expecting Kim Pine to say "Scott Pilgrim is dating a high schooler?" If only I had any interest in the Zelda games before seeing that movie the first time...

  • SCOTT PILGRIM

  • I was born too early to enjoy this game (1996) on the snes does anybody know where I can get a more convenient version of this

  • @brawlman87 well theres always roms...

  • @brawlman87

There's several ways you can get this game. You could get it on the Wii's Virtual Console service, if you have a Wii. There's also a port of this game for the Game Boy Advance, and I'm sure that there might be used copies of the game at a dedicated video game store, but they can be tricky to find. You could also buy the game off of Amazon or Ebay.

Or, if you really want to take the easy way out, you can always download an emulator to play the game on the computer for free.

  • @brawlman87 easiest way is to download ZSNES emulator. and you should buy a proper controller too

  • @brawlman87 emulator-zone(dot)com and for the roms/games, dgemu(dot)com.

  • u need to provide a download link dude lol

  • I remember getting a SNES for my birthday way back in the day, hooked it up and stuck in Link to the Past, waited for the demo to come up and was stunned by the awesomeness.

  • THE BEST ERA TO BE A GAMER IN HISTORY,GRAB THE BIG SCREEN,BREAK OUT THE SNES,EVEN THE SHABBY SNES CONTROLLER YOU PAINTED GOLD,AND ROLL THE BLUNT BECAUSE WE WILL NEVER AGAIN IN HISTORY RELIVE THE DAYS OF WAKING UP ON A SATURDAY MORNING BEING GREETED WITH ONE OF THE BEST OPENINGS FOR A GAME IN HISTORY

  • @BurbleCut01 I totally agree man its the classics like this that make me proud to be a gamer

  • Omg, this fits in so perfectly right now. There is a thuinder storm with thunder every 10 seconds less than one mile away from me. This definately fits!

  • the begining is in the movie of scott pilgrim!

  • @98tsuda but where did it originate? here i believe.

  • @98tsuda wait... link dated a highschooler from hyrule?

  • Found this game in my closet the other day.. Dug up my SNES.. I'm addicted again <3

  • legend of zelda oot is on 3ds june 19 2011

  • Zelda: Where both music and game give birth to a wonderful imaginary world...

  • Every time I turn on my SNES to play this game I ALWAYS increase the volume to hear that epic intro music from 0:00 to 0:15!

  • Starting at 17 seconds I can't not feel the most epic.

  • For some reason, everytime I think of this song, it soothes me so much that I can devote myself to protect Zelda.

  • This is literally my alarm clock every morning :)

  • @Cam3leon what an EPIC alarm clock you have. !!

  • @Cam3leon how?

  • @MistikaManiac I downloaded it on my phone lol

  • @Cam3leon lol

  • @Cam3leon Cool! mine too! and it repeats from 0:16!

  • @Cam3leon lucky

  • @Cam3leon that's a brilliant idea

  • @Cam3leon Wake with confidence, than put on your undies. ;D

  • @Cam3leon Im so stealing this from you and I dont care if you know it.

  • @g0dfathermezz715 Lmao knock yourself out. I've been using the Continue theme from Sonic the Hedgehog as my current alarm...

  • @Cam3leon I woke up to it this morning and it was awesome.

  • @Cam3leon What a great way to start off your mornings!

  • I think 'Opening Demo' is a great song. That's when you turn on the either the SNES/Wii or even a GBA to start your game.

  • @preciousillusions201 REALLY?!

  • epic intro, i let the demo play just to hear this tune

  • third comment.....

  • 0:09 - 0:16 actually matches the title frame.

  • hey man, i appreciate this alot...this takes me back when all it took to enjoy a game was gameplay and the music that came with it...

  • @steampower97 i agree that todays games are way too absorbed with story line.

  • @thomassoutar games nowadays suck! with a few exceptions...

  • @thevideogamenerd100 theres still a few good RPGS out there, like fallout 3, and theres a few good FPS left...like...fallout 3, bf42, bfv...yep i just ran the good game bin dry

  • @supercrapnstuff11 for me the Mario games have never changed, EA Skate 2 is fun, Halo and COD is fun but it's too overrated, and Castlevania sux nowadays
