  • this must be the one where the british guy fakes it. in the real ones, theres no stage, its simply magic, and/or electromagnetism. lol.

  • I once heard it speculated that Yeshua (Jesus) wandered to India in the years between the money-changers episode in his youth and the time he re-appeared to begin his "ministry" at about age 30. Various North Indian villages have oral history saying their fakirs taught him tricks -- e.g., turn water into wine, raise the "dead", heal "lepers", cure "demonic possession" -- that were old even then; he brought them back to Palestine where they hadn't yet been seen. Fakirs can still do this stuff.

  • @50zcarsman are you relying on the bible to prove the existence of fakirs?

  • @syncstation

the bible doesnt say anything about fakirs

    history shows that fakirs exist

i never heard of them doing such tricks

but i know that there are very deep into religion

    but in simple terms

they are basically middle eastern monks

  • pmsl =]

  • relly relly fu....!!

  • LOL....funny shiat

  • lol

  • funny!

  • The severed limb also has a legend attached to it...they were real!!!!! the magician would use twins to peform hs feat and kill one of them......;)

  • FUNNY ! Thanks.

  • lol!!!!

does anyone know how the real one is done??

  • it is done with mass hypnosis, audience thinks that the boy is climbing a rope and disappears, but he just leaves the stage

  • I think i saw that on americas funnieast home videos???W.T.F

  • fake

  • no shit, captain obvious.

  • To Skullfyre7.Note how the third knot in the rope is tied underhand instead of overhand. This tends to be a classic mistake when trying to attempt this piece of magic. This can then tend to lead the audience into beliving it is fake...COURSE ITS FAKE YOU MUPPET!Wheres your sense of humour

  • More muppetness, but PFP's comment I found more amusing. But kudos none the less! ^~

  • Stix says "Note how the third knot in the rope is tied underhand instead of overhand."

    That's funny too!

  • The proper Indian Rope trick enchants the rope sending it up, the kid goes up. The enchanter commands me comes down, when he doesn't he goes up and disappears like the boy. Loud screams are heard from the heavens and the boy is dropped to the ground in pieces. They are gathered into a sack and he emerges from the sack fully healed and together. FAKE!!!

  • that dude with the pipe is that guy in the old cartoon how he makes all the rats go away by playin his pipe. hell funny vid ! LOL!

  • Hay,Is that Iain Lee with the pipe

  • He's right, this isn't the classic trick and if you look very carefully this was obviously shot in a studio and not in an egyptian market. This may shock you but I don't even think that little boy is of Indian decent. OF COURSE ITS NOT THE CLASSIC TRICK YOU MUPPET ITS A JOKE!!!

  • You called him a muppet.

    Kudos. :D

  • I didn't mean that, you pratt. The classic trick features severed limbs.

  • Entertaining, but that isn't the 'classic' trick.

  • wow

  • Classic humor! (Y)

  • cool vid! funny too.
