  • @schutzehorst thats your opinion..i dont like death metal thats on most mma videos..i wanted something with a bit of flow so went with this..

  • Nice hey whats the name for the number 1 submission

  • @midgety1 you`ll find all the names of all the subs in the info for the video..cheers..

  • the gogoplata looks sik as hell!!

  • nice top 5, i totally agree with this list....fuckin beautiful submissions

  • # 2 was awesome

  • my favorite submission is the flying armbar it's great too see!

  • Comment removed

  • Randleman's lucky he can still walk.

  • number 4 was crazy !

  • awesome at 2:30

  • Silva tapped before he even cranked the heel...he knew better! If someone had the position set up and I saw it coming i'd tap too.

  • My favorite also include Frank Mir on Lesnar, Nog on Cro Crop, oh and my new favorite lol Mirko Cro Crops rear naked choke on Pat Barry

  • well thats whatyou get when you fight asians

  • that first guys left leg took some damage

  • god look at the Masvidal's face at 2:56 scary

  • great vid dude

  • diaz should be #1

  • Nice picks. After Abu Dhabii I'm sure your number one hit the top of a lot of people's favorites list.

  • I like these top 5 selections, very well done.

  • Lol Number 3 went by so fast I missed it at first!!!

  • I think number 2 should've been number 1

  • @gotstickyrice21 hell yea

  • That reverse senkaku was amazing! That's a hard one to pull off with gis but even harder without. Good Stuff!

  • that gogoplata was smooth, love how quick he got that shin under.

  • @tkdyo Dude which one's the gogoplata? I don't know, i'm a stand-up kickin kinda fighter. But i'm all blown away by all these like WOW

  • @Sippimuli gogoplata is the one where he slips his shin under the guys shin and chokes him.

dont worry, I was (still am) mostly a stand up fighter too. Ive learned a lot about subs, but still not great at pulling them off.

  • @tkdyo hell yeah! thanks bro.

  • @Sippimuli no prob man

  • Nice set of subs. The fedor sub of randleman could've possibly beat out the rua vs randleman.

  • the first one was nothing special

  • Holy crap, that sucker was ready to snap in the first fight.

  • i really think the gogoplata is number one. i mean u can prolly count on one hand how many times that moves been pulled off in mma. dustin hazeletts arm bar on josh burkman has to be top 5 too lol

  • @nkyryry #3 the flying armbar is probable just as rare as a gogo

  • sweet pics mate!!

  • awesome gogoplata i never acually knew someone pulled off one in mma

  • cool vid.

  • good choices but annoying song

  • your number one would've been my number one too.

  • wow i've never seen any1 turn as blue as the guy in number 2

  • ooh my god , couldnt watch the first one , crazy and painful

  • number 1 - its not the WWE try and get out you stupid nigger

  • @elliotb92 hey idiot thats a heel hook. if he didnt tap his knee would have been gone. btw thats anderson silva so shut your racist mouth

  • @caswell01 #

1 - its not Anderson Silva - its Kevin Randleman

2 - its a knee bar (which finnishes it)

3 - heel hooks...as suggested in the name..hook your heel..nothing to do with you knee

    4 - your a fag

so if u actaully put ur dick away and stopped wanking over a guy you thought was silva you'd noticed from 0:07 - 1:44 he (Kevin Randleman) does very little to get out

    SO STFU

especially when your wrong about every single point you made

    MAJOR FAIL

  • @elliotb92 Are you kidding me? Heel hooks have everything to do with the knee. By twisting the foot, you put all that pressure on the ACL and the other ligaments in the knee. That's why when you see football and soccer players tear their ACL's it's due to the toe of their shoe getting caught on the ground and them falling on it.

  • @elliotb92 you fuckin idiot, he refers to submission #1, which is anderson silva being tapped by a heel hook, which has everything to do with the knee. learn something about the sport before commenting

  • @blackjohnson3 and i was talking bout the first clip or no5

okay i got 1 thing wrong he got like 4 things wont

so learn something about what i commented before commenting

  • @caswell01 btw i look forward to you try and reply to that :)

  • @elliotb92 ur a bitch, shut the hell up internet gangsta

  • @elliotb92 you little fucking bitch say something back if u know who ur father is u punk motherfucker

  • @KBoogs719 something

  • yeah i was just trying to block you and wanted to see if it would work, i think i have to be the one who uploaded the video tho, but still fuck u

  • @KBoogs719 wow nice fail with the block..lol

  • @grinchy01 yeah i know it was pretty bad

  • i like this compilation, maybe a i would see someone of genki sudo, one of the best grapplers in mma

  • i used to love how the PRIDE refs used to look at the dude being subbed and shout "GIVE UP?" lol...those were the days...

  • watch?v=JeLUlk9d9W0

  • Rumina Sato is one baddddd asssssss shoot fighter. Nothing but business.

  • Ahhh yes!! the flying scissor to heel hook

  • awsome number 3,whats music anyway?

  • @uzamaki32 LL Cool J - Phenomenon

  • @grinchy01 thanks man

  • I would've appreciated having the fighters identified, as I've never seen fights three and one before, and I would've liked to have been able to go watch the whole things (and I could do that if I knew who the fighters were). Otherwise, it's a great collection!

  • @BinkyM i have identified the fighters..under the video in the info..there all there...

  • @grinchy01: Oh; I didn't notice! Thanks! But anyone embedding the video won't have benefit of your comments, grinchy.

  • @grinchy01: Oh; I didn't notice! Thanks! But anyone embedding the video won't have benefit of your comments, grinchy.

  • @grinchy01: Oh; I didn't notice! Thanks! But anyone embedding the video won't have benefit of your comments, grinchy.

  • @BinkyM #1 is anderson silva and ryo chonan

  • BEAUTIFULL!

  • nice gogoplata

  • number 1 is really great good vid.

  • @specialforces69 i have it all ready mate..check out my top 5 mma bones shouldnt bend that way video..you`ll like

  • flying arm bar lol LOVE IT

  • In my opinion the first one was nothing but bad technique he should have had that guy tapping earlier

  • Personally a big fan of the gogo

  • bad song sweet list

  • 5-kata ashi hishigi

    4-kagato jime

    3-tobi juji gatame

    2-sankaku jime

1-kani basami-kani garami beautiful submissions man, but 4 me the best is your second

  • wow was that last one a rollin knee bar lol and thanx for puttin the triangle at 2 when i wrestle thats my favorite way to attack

  • I love the look on Anderson's face when he tapped out.

  • holy bjeusses #1 didnt even see that comming it was like a flash and then he started tappin.

  • dude holy shit that guy # 2 on the list was blue in the face and you must really suck if you get caught in a flying armbar

  • @thornelledge uhm thorn really suck? i bet you never did grappling did you? you calling anderson silva than to he sucks cuz he got caught in flying siccor heelhook?

    ur retarded

  • gotta give credit to Randleman that was insane being in that for almost 2 minutes.

  • the ryo chonan heel hook is my favorite one too. It came out of nowhere.

  • why would nick diaz's gogoplata be one gogoplata isnt a technical move at all? it is used everyday....

  • haha silva getting pwned. loving number 2 though!! i dont see why the guy didnt just body slam him before he got the lock on

  • #2 the dudes face was turning blue lol

  • that inverted triangle is the best submission i've ever seen, although i love the first because anderson silva is a cocky prick who needs to be knocked down a notch or 2

  • The inverted triangle is so awesome. Frank Mir's armbar on Tim Sylvia could have been in there somwhere too, maybe top 10 though.

  • Number 2 is AWESOME!

  • hey GREAT FIVE dude awesome yip

  • poor spider i was sad as hell when he lost like dat

  • omg that kneebar was nasty!

  • thats right silva, you fucking prick. always disrespecting other fighters

  • great list, all of the subs on this list are epic!

  • @yun131 I never noticed before, Shogun clasps his hands behind his back to finish

  • At about 2:55 is about the best look you'll ever get as to why a triangle choke works...without actually being in one, that is.

  • @yun131 thanks..check out my other lists..

  • why is the inverted triangle #2 on the list

  • @sackings46 just prefer flying scissor heel hook more..mostly because its on anderson silva..i also think it took more skill..

  • @sackings46 how often do you see them?

  • Would have gone with Hazelett over Burkman for spot 5. But hey, to each his own.

  • fucking brazil invented mma

  • Holy crap... number 2 worked? NOICE!

  • oh holy hell mother of... tap already, Randleman, it hurts me just watching that happen to your foot.

  • Great list, but im not 100% sure that number 5 should be there, it is a good display of submission skills and persistance+ a frigging kneebar on som of the strongest legs in the game. but still..

  • number 3 rocked!

  • the 1st 3 are in alot of top 10 videos, I'm not saying Ryo Chonan's heel hook doesn't deserve to be near the top, I just think Rumina Sato should've gotten the #1 spot.

Pulled off a flying armbar in 6 seconds... come on now lol.

  • @rednek316 i think that inverted triangle diserved it lol

  • @memyselfandi337 I agree. The inverted was maybe sub of the century...especially because he choked him out. But then again, watching Silva get flying heel hooked is great. If someone tried to do that to him today, he'd break their nose mid air and then run around the rest of the fight.

Where was Aoki's gogoplata from mount? Shogun's relentlessness w/ the leg is great but I think Aoki's tops that.

  • @Deej1188 to be honest i just didnt want 2 gogo`s in it and i just prefer nick`s one more and and as for the shogun one i put that in because i personaly love it not because of the actual knee bar but the unwillingness of randleman to tap when he`s clearly aint got the skill to escape..the look on his face is epic..he`s hurting bad..

  • @grinchy01 ah...I do respect your decision. Yeah, Randleman is the best in this. Not even a good attempt to spin out of the leg lock. Most of the time, he just lays there hoping Shogun will stop due to boredom.

  • Numbers 2 and 3 were the best to me.

  • is number 2's head turning blue?

  • i love diaz's gogoplata on gomi but too bad it was ruled a no contest because diaz tested positive for marijuana. thats some shit.

  • shogun did not want to give up that leg haha

  • i like number 3

  • flying scissor heel hook is awesome

  • Gotta love the Japanese. Hope more fighters pulled submissions like that on the arrogant Silva.

  • this is a good complication but i think the flying arm bar should be #1.

  • this brings back gruesome memorys, i fought heavy handed kid named sebastian wong in an amateur bout. he started off throwing wild overhand punches which i managed to dodge, i clinched and decided to pull guard knowing i was the superior grappler/submissionist, within 1-2 minutes of keeping him at bay i threw a deep gogoplata on him, he went limp immediately the ref dived at me and struggled to break the hold, my aggression wouldnt allow me to release and and i held in for 3-4 extra secs

  • Scissor hook deserves to be no.1. Its beautiful and its against anderson silva.

  • yep..was definately deserved..

  • beautiful armbar

  • the guys in the number 5 is a dumbass he should have used his other leg to push on that guys ass to get away

  • leme put you in a knee bar with aguard that shogun rua has , youll have a broken leg within 15 seconds mate

  • i could push away with that 15 seconds fagg

  • you could? k show me your pride / strikeforce / ufc championship belt then ? , ...... yeah fuck off kid

  • you act like you need a belt to know how to wrestle dumbass

  • just like that guy could have

  • @oTECHNiiQUEo the guy your on about who couldnt get out of the kneebar Kevin Randleman was a two time Division I NCAA Champion for an Ohio State University in wrestling..so his wrestling wast the problem as you think..your making yourself sound like an idiot..you wouldnt have got out of it..he would have put you into hospital..

  • song? anyone

  • ll cool j..Phenomenon

  • Mir v Williams- Mir lock

  • Gogoplata is my fav :P

  • the third one was awesome

  • that guys knee is prolly fucked up

  • that first vid fuck that dudes tough to last that long in a knee bar

  • he could stand the pain

  • holy shit, shogan's knee bar!

  • 0:10 Shelton Benjamin?

  • nope its kevin randleman..it aint wwe its for real

  • #3 was ... holy shit

  • awesome vid

  • thank u AVIENO ppl never do their homework the kano the man the started judo was a master of jujitsu but back then jujitsu tournaments ppl died and it was ok so kano wanting more ppl to see jujitsu made judo SPORT jujitsu!

my father is a master of hakkoryu jujitsu and spent 20 years in japan under okuyama!

  • number 4 that was one crazy ass gogoplata

  • there all devastating!!

  • My fav was with no doubt number 2!

  • Number 3 juji gatame is a very well known technique, forbidden in position of stand on. Very spectacular.

Number 5 is a very well known technique of judo, today forbidden in competition.

The more difficult I think is #2, by Nick Diaz. An incredible flexibility.

  • @Avieno 2# the Gogoplata is by far the easiest, 5, the knee bar isnt a judo technique, its BJJ, and 3 is a flying armbar.

  • Chasen14: The gogoplata is "by far the easiest" if you have the flexibility. If not, you will cannot do. Not all the people has the flexibility of Nick Diaz.

5 is an ancient judo technique, today forbidden in competition (judo is not only competition, catch it?) because judo descends from jiu jitsu and BJJ takes jiu jitsu techniques. That technique was forbidden to avoid accidents.

  • And 3 is the same that juji gatame, in position of stand on. What martial art do you think it descend from? Of course, Jiu Jitsu, and after, Judo. The fact that in MMA people refers to it like "flying armbar" is not relevant to set its origins.

  • You also realize BJJ was based off of Judo? Actually Jujutsu was based off of Judo, and the Gracies took JuJutsu and made Jiu-Jitsu.

A gogoplata isn't an easy maneuver to pull of either. How many people do you see that finish with a Gogo? Brad Imes is called Mr. Gogoplata now because he finished two fights in a row with it and people were so impressed.

The kneebar did deserve 5 even though it was a well-fought submission, you just see alot of leglocks today, so it's not to unique.

  • number 2 was crazy as hell..because u need to push hips up and pull head dwn.....this man didnt need any of this all in the legs! wow now that should be alltime best submission

  • I was there for it. Dayton, Ohio last year. Insane!

  • It got submission of the year last year, I sure as hell couldn't pull it off, but I don't know, it doesn't seem as hard as people hype it up to be. It's just the opposite of a regular triangle, Cole Miller's was a better inverted one than this, and he had a kimura to go along with it. People just hype up Toby Imada's because he made the guy pass out, and he was standing up.

  • FREAK

  • Diaz gogo on Gomi was epic.

Too bad the dumbass failed a drug test afterward and gave up the win.

  • @NRFC

stfu you dirty fag..,. he has a medical marijuana liscense.

  • 4 was hells gate

  • Lol I advise you to not use a WWE term on an MMA page. Undertaker has a pretty ugly Gogoplata, and that bleeding out the mouth effect was just stupid. Yes, I did watch a couple WWE videos because I was bored, and that just happened to be one I stumbled across.

WWE is trying to bring a little bit of the Judo, Jiu-Jitsu game into it.

Michelle McCool's heel hook was no doubt a copy off.

Also, them bringing in Ken Shamrock and Daniel Puder shows it.

  • i say my fave is number 3. damn. all spider monkey style lol.

  • numer 3 was crazy he just jumped on to him and pulled off an arm bar

  • i liked number two better

  • number 4 is the gogoplata and the number 5 is the six second magic...

  • no 5 is what?????

  • # 5 was toe hold transitioned to a kneebar.

  • number 3 that should have been number1

  • nice vid man. Sick subs.

  • @kinc1967 thanks..check out some of my other mma top 5`s..

  • the flying triangle was sicckkk

  • I love inverted triangles. I locked one in on my brother once and he had the WTF look on his face. Diaz shouldve been higher. He was getting beat and to put that out. But Ryo's is the best. I wouldv'e put Hazzletts Whiizer to armbar before the flying armbar any day though.

  • will a toe hold brake anything or is it just a pain move?

  • i take it your on about the last one??

if you are it aint a toe hold..

its a heel hook and it definately could break somthing..

  • @grinchy01 i mean when rua figure fours his hands, he gets randleman in a heel hook then a toe hold then a kneebar and im just curioius as to wether the toe hold could brake randlmans leg or something

  • it looks like he`s trying to hpyer extend the foot straight, like in the direction as if you were taping your foot,i think the toes come into it by accident..and im sure it could break, just look at randlemans expression..

  • kevin randleman is a beast that submission was on him for like 50 seconds
