I play it in 1080p, all on high, 4xAA with my 560 ti and I don't see any nobicable difference between high and very high, exceptt that it runs on a lower framerate on very high. runs great in 1600x900, very high, 4xaa though but I prefer high in 1080p.

I just ran this on all very high i can confirm that this works. in fact I ran it at 1080p the only settings I disabled were Anti Aliasing. Though I have 4 GB of RAM and an Athlon II x4.

resolution is a setting and on crysis you need dx10 to play it on very high.

the fact its made in sandbox means there is not much else going on and doesn't need the same resources to run as the actual game.

play the final boss on real max settings 1080p or higher and see what happens!

God do i miss this card, it sucks it got damaged from overheating. Now Im stuck with a GT 240 1GB DD3 which isnt even perfect for gaming but awesome for Desktop use.

I bet Crysis will only run in Medium settings with at least 30fps but on very High around 20fps if I reinstall it.

You have a 9600GT?? The 8800GT is the better card of the two. Higher sustained frame rates with higher details. The 9600GT is not a bad card, just not as good as the 8800GT. The 8800GT is the best mid-range card on the market and the 9600GT is just one step behind it. So if you have a 9600GT is not BAD at all! its good very good too :D
