  • I love this video .... and i hate it at the same time.sure do miss the younger years seeing cars like that going down the road.things change to fast seems like.

  • It's a shame seeing all that Great American Steel just rotting away

  • Is that a comouflage paint job on the car at 8:17 ?

  • At 7:48, looks to be a 1938 or 39 chevy 2 Dr, Coupe's, Master 6- Cylinders Sport Coupes, Master Delux 6 -Cyl. sport coupes are about $ 29,000.00 each restored.

  • At 4:30, If thats a 1957 - 58 Plymouth Fury 2 dr. its worth about $85,000.00 restored.

  • The red Vette at 4:28, if restored is worth around $ 90,000.00

  • @SHELLHEAD1961 Thanks for your comments pal.

  • Freeze at :39, that old Corvette is worth $76,000.00 - $86,000.00 or more, depending on the options, if it's restored.

  • What a great bunch of neat old automobiles, enough parts and projects to keep hundreds of gear heads busy for thousands of hours. The best one is the 50's GM concept car at 6:49 these cars sell for 6 and 7 fiquires when restored.

  • When these cars went to the junkyard, they were regarded as tired worn out appliances. The styling was probably grotesque compared to the new cars of the day, which offered better ride, more power more comfort, etc. Nobody wanted them now, most are beyond the faintest hope of reclamation. Those who think the good ones should be saved, go and grab them now.

  • 6:23 gt500 dang

  • pause at 1:57, i like

  • this is way sad! what a disgrace to see such beauty wasted! :(

  • my dad told me when i wreck my car we'll pull her up in the weeds, and i can look at it as i WALK to school..

pretty funny, but lucky ive never wrecked a car bad

  • 5:57 Front disc brakes on a late 50's car!?

  • Wow, that car at 2:19 is the best looking car in this whole video. It is a 1958 buick. If i lived in America i would go there and buy it and restore it to its original condition as it left the factory. I live in Australia though. I really like your video, good job at taking the photos of all these cool old cars that should be all restored.

  • 2:22, was that a '58 Riviera?! WHAT THE FUCK?! one of the most stunning cars ever made! what a waste :/

  • At 1:15 where was this cadillac hearse located?

  • at 2:29 that should be the start of the old antuiqe cars that have gone 2 waste.

  • at 0:20 there is a Steudebaker

  • Very valuable '58 Buick at 2:21.

  • Most of the time if you find an old car that's not to far gone and you ask if it's for sale "no I'm gona fix it up" or you get cussed out and threatend. It's a shame so much history gone to waste.

  • exellent;)

  • Brilliant..loved every second-

  • Como es posible que tengan estas bellezas asi, lo que es no saber, cuanto valor tienen estos autos.

  • @SaveOldCars Here's the thing, you're claiming a band which is identical to all other nanufactured kiddy-punk boy bands of the time such a Blink 182, Green Day, etc... Is non-commercial, and on top of that punk...

Real punk died 20 years before that group was put together by the record agency So please, reconsider who's being immature, kid.

  • @seiferis2006 You're saying real punk rock died in '88? Have you ever listened to the music of that time?

So... when's the last time music like this (Pennywise) reached the top of the charts? It's all about REAL commercial shit right now. Pennywise has never been commercial. Listen to their old stuff like Bro Hymn and Straight Ahead. If you still think they are commercial, then you really have to get your head out of your ass.

  • @seiferis2006 Of course Green Day and Blink 182 are commercial (not when they started though) Get your facts right. Seriously, I can't stand your attitude. Listen to what you want, but don't drag down good music for no good reason.

  • @SaveOldCars: lol, at least Gaga is open about being shitty commercial music, the soundtrack here reminds me of teenybopper wanna-be-punk crap... Other than that, cool vid :P

  • @seiferis2006 You know you are talking about Pennywise there kid? They were Punk Rock legends probably before you were even born! It's ok to not like the music, but don't drag it down by your immature comment. If you're into mainstream that's ok for me too.

  • MUTE!

  • @tartandaddy Yeah? Keep listening to Lady Gaga then, jackass

  • @SaveOldCars who?

  • @tartandaddy lol i'll mute your ass with my dick you pussy

  • @aixacharles if thats your thing man you go for it -

  • @tartandaddy btw - Ive got some tweezers but I sure as hell cant find your dick!......a magnifying glass anyone?

  • @tartandaddy what a shame

  • At 0.10 That is a 53 F&*kin Vette,,,,WHY is this car there??All I got is a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP to put a 400 Pontiac and 4 speed in,,That would be a Great project

  • @MegaRiktane ,,This video is Very disturbing ,,A SHELBY at 6.23 Come on people,,Is it just Greed to say ,If I don,t get 50,000$ for it I,ll Crush it,,Old cars generate revenue ,And leave the Crushers out of it,,Let them eat Rice andYugos

  • много хорошо сохранившихся вариантов. взял бы какой-нибудь на восстановление

  • if i had the money i would repair them all.

  • 9:32 of pure sadness,if only we the time and money...

  • what a waste, cars like this never in australia,we got nothing over here...

  • @vw4x4 I could not stand your comment, I had to delete it.

  • really sad they need to be saved

  • At 3:48 is an Australian Ford Mainline pickup or a UTE as we call them from around 1953

  • 0:00 - 0:32 ;(

  • 4:29 Christine's back.... O_O

  • @rudolft I hope some one rescues her

  • @MegaModelMan Pennywise - Yesterdays.

  • omg so sad, save them, America rally around your glorious past and fix them all ! Was that a Javalin at 5.10 ?

  • who ever made this video is sharing pics with someone else note save old cars doesnt say the location !

  • @lineedsadragstrip Don't talk nonsense. I've already told people where they can find these cars - on the H.A.M.B forum, search for the "History Old Time Junk Yard Photos PIX 1920 to 1970" thread. There you can find most of the locations. I ALSO uploaded many vids with DETAILED location info and in some cases even telephone numbers and stuff. So how can you say I'm not telling people where they are??

  • @SaveOldCars ok thank you

  • This video is the saddest goddamned thing I've ever seen. I want to restore them all.

  • how do u find these places and can u give me sum of the locations of these places mate?

  • @ggoodan I've put a link to the website in the description...

  • If that 1958 plymouth has a good solid body I hope someone rescues it

  • How do people get all this stuff and where could you find cars like these???

  • @AsKjAyAtPrOsK8T24 Just read the description.

  • @AsKjAyAtPrOsK8T24 There's a lot of places like this in southern Missouri.

  • wish i could have them all

  • why cant the (world) make it so people who care about these cars can just go and grab them so they can be restored....im 14 years old and this makes me sad..

  • 8:17 the car that even god forgot about!

  • my dad tells me how he bought a 69 dogde dart swinger off the show room floor for 3500 bucks and it just floors me..69 GTOs were like 4500 or so and camcaros were lik3 4900 5500..you cant touch any of those cars today even in shitty condition for what ? less than 25,000? and good ones are going for 100k-200k.

  • i hate seeing them stacked, that just ruins the top and means more work for you when you go to restore them.

  • i love walking in junkyards, not only can you find money and valuables in junked cars, but each car has a story and life of its own,its fun to sit and imagine where and who that car or this car has been with in life, whos fallen in love, been created and more often than not..died in this car or that car. junkyards are a testament to our lives.

  • i used to live in Colorado in a condo on the outskirts of town and about a mile away from the condo was an old model t half buried in the ground way out in the woods...lord knows how long it had been sitting there decaying...i tried for 2 months to dig that thing out by hand but it was firmly rooted to the ground..lol on someone else property too.

  • @KeithWasHere1 Really enjoyed reading your comments, Keith. Keep them up!! I'm curious what happened to that Model T...

  • @SaveOldCars I was 16 at the time, and the car (im not exactly sure if it was a T,but it was old as hell with wood spoked rims, wooden frame for the doors & roof and the chassis was wood too but all with metal socket to it. .but all beyond decayed (more like decay and more decay holding hands!).i tried and tried to dig it out but the more i dug the more i damaged it.tried to pop out the speedo but ended up shattering the glass to it and the needle fell off (20mph top speed).--->

  • @KeithWasHere1 20 mph top speed? Even T's were faster than that, so it must've been something even older! Dang...

  • all in all it was a big lesson in when you find something (especially on someone elses property) leave it ALONE! But i was a dumb 16 year old kid and thought i had made a huge discovery and thought i was going to be a millionaire.you live and you learn i guessim turning 34 in jan,so that was 18 years ago.it was still there when i moved in 1996.if your ever in walsenburg co,go to the rio chucharas motel,go to the condos in back, follow the barb wire fence towards the ridgeline..its right next 2 it

  • but farther back into the woods and over the ridgeline abut 7 or 8 miles. id did find an old junkyard with like bel airs, mercs, furys, fairlnes forgive my spelling and about 60 or 70 old cars..just one of those forgotten junk piles.lol dont know whos property they were one but i went through them with a fine tooth comb, looking for old coins and old stuff.the town used to be a boom town in the late 1800's and again in the 30's to 50's but then just went to crap.just one of those one horse towns.

  • @KeithWasHere1 Unfortunately I live in Germany so it'd be hard for me to go there anytime soon... Do you know if that yard is still there and do you have any pics? I'd love to see them!

  • @SaveOldCars nope no pics..this was back in like 94 way before digital cams, and i didnt know crap about 35mm cams back then.yes the car was extremely old, most of it was wood with sheetmetal socked to it,i never really did look for a manufactures stamp or date, the speedo had numbers 5,10,15 and 20 mph on it and was very fragile, the engine bay was extremely small.like say the size of a very early 2 or 4 cylinder engine.and the car was rather narrow, with seats in front and back, but wood seats!

  • i mean even the spokes on the wheels were wood that was socked into a metal band ,there was no remnants of whatever tires they used back then,i have no clue what kinda car it was but it was old as the hills thats for sure, thinking back on it i feel so bad for busting it up trying to dig it out.but when your young you dont think ahead sometimes.

  • here is a picture hfmgv.org/exhibits/showroom/1908/tudor.jpg ,its as close as i can get to what the car i found looked like but its not exact..the pic shows a 1908 carthough im willing to bet the car i found was from between 1895 and 1905.if you can find out what cars back then used wood for the chassis and almost everything else and find some pictures i could point out what it looked like, but for some reason im not getting back much info on wood chassis cars except Morgans.w it wasnt

  • @KeithWasHere1 Dang... the link doesn't work... But I can imagine what it looked like, more like a carriage than a car, right? If you ever get to go there again, please let me know!

  • @SaveOldCars eh,yeah..or a very very early for of an automobile, like the hand crankers you see in old films and whatnot.ill message you the link to what it looks like when i find one,im still researching old wood framed cars to find what it was.

  • my time in that town wasnt the greatest so i dont think i will ever be going there again..but im thinking of putting a request on the craigslist there for someone to go back into the woods and take a few pictures for me..theres always people that will do cool stuff for you out there..

  • @KeithWasHere1 That'd be great! I'm sorry to hear you had a bad time in that town...

  • id give my right nut for a midnight blue 57 chevy bel air or a 55 Merc Monteclair Super Marauder Coupe with pushbutton shift..

  • @KeithWasHere1 Why? There is room for 2 in those cars.

  • @sonnylatchstring lol good one man lol

  • man i wish i could have some of those..some real beauties there, even still covered in rust and sitting for the past 50 years...those cars are works of art man.

  • kde je to vrakovisko ?????pls. where is the scrapyard ????? pls.

  • I love to see old cars returning to the earth.

  • Perfect song for the setting & thank you for posting this incredible video!

    A 1954 Vette @ 10 seconds & another @ 38 seconds! What a waste!!!!!!!!!

  • @hplar1 Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your comment. I agree, no classic car should end up like this. If you wanna find out more about the Vettes, I suggest you to go to the HAMB forums, they've got a few junkyard car threads where I got the pics from.

  • well you just made me feel like crap

  • 1:40 I aint afrid of no goasts
