All farmer are greedy twats, in every respect! Miserable inbreeds with nothing to recommend them. Only caring about their animals as money and not a feeling creature.
I don't eat meat, and I buy free range organic for my family. People have to show their support for the animals by making that choice when they buy food.
@blackflower75 yes and the natural way would be for you to of killed it yourself with the big sharp teeth you have and the high acidic acid you have in the digestive system for you to digest its quickly rotten flesh, not , ime talking about a fox (a carnivore) and your not, how can killing a pig b natural your worse then the farmer , he things of money and you think of death
@debvegandeb Humans are omnivores like pigs. Calm down. It's over zealous people like you that give Vegans a bad name. Most people on here are disgusted with the way these animals are kept and are voicing how they do their bit to stop it from happening. Being a vegan is not the only way to prevent cruelty to animals.
I wish people would open their eyes and see what is happening to the animals they eat. I don't buy from these farmers, I only buy from a trusted butcher who ensures me that the animals have a high stardard of welfare.
@alfieowen you wanna open your eyes and realise the pork you eat is from a mother that has been raped and had her babies taken away from her then constantly been pregnated again, if that is high standard to you then maybe , your mother is happy to go through the same thing,
@BassInsurgents Someone made a comment on here that unfortunately becoming a vegan is not going to change how animals are reared or kept. Whether its for food, testing, entertainment. I don't eat a great deal of meat and what I do I ensure high quality cruelty free. By the way I support this charity and other animal charities.
if pigs live outdoor , pigs will have weird parasite. It is harmful for human.

Yeah... farmers have to do what they have to do. This isn't really "greed" this is there job...

I am vet student in Scotland and have worked with free range wild boar for a few years now but I don't find this too bad.
Conditions like this really are standard (unfortunately) and this farm could quite EASILY BE ORGANIC for anybody thinking otherwise.
From a welfare point of view, pigs in these conditions would appear statistically better (better disease control, management etc)
At the end of the day people who eat pork should go out and understand why pigs are being kept like this.

I don't understand what you're saying here- are you trying to justify pigs being kept in this way?

I'm a vegetarian. WITH REASON.

I eat meat. Just make sure it's organic or free range. All the time for everything.

How can could anyone treat any animal like that I just don't understand.

For money..? Not that I don't agree with you, greed can cause people to do despicable and evil things (and yes I'm a vegetarian.).

@alfieowen Or just man up and go vegan. These people would ensure you the exact same thing, you're just as deluded.

@alfieowen
If you believe or agree with what they say then you need to think about it for longer.
There's no need to kill animals, there's no argument for it.
