  • How did you do the Warp bassline?

  • its amazing how artists can still conitnue to use the amen break and it still never gets old no matter how much i hear it.

  • fuck you

  • hey man can you link me to a decent pack of samples? thanks

  • This is awesome, Exactly what I've been looking for.

  • good stuff

  • you have to get a maschine, your beats will thank you.

  • Thanks for putting this video up. The Amen break must have more to be squeezed out of it still.....

  • If you need some projects with amen i can send u some just to listen amen slicing ;]

    pm if som1 wants some

i am not showing of your stuff is nice but i think they're quite similar. What i want to say is that my breaks are about 1 min. and are quite like jungle dnb. In short

    long and different ^^

  • This was made last year, I'm 20x better at slicing now this was when I first discovered it lol. Well if you have links to a package I can always link to it on the right for you so other can download, the whole point of this video is information and help not competition. If you want me to put any of your link in the description let me know.

  • @johnbakoda

well i haven't got any online publicated stuff :D i just wanted to say if You want any but if you're better now then this is great ^^

  • Where can I find those drum samples?

  • Google summin like amen break sample pack and you should find a link :)

  • Yeah Waelwulfas Amen can be found in most places mate. The links on the right lead to some Amen packs I put together a while ago if you're interested.

  • i like my breaks to sound dirty

i want my tunes to sound raw and horrible, like they were made in a tiny room for peanuts, not like it was made in an operating theatre

  • Thanks, but made this a while ago for beginners really.. don't use this channel anymore.

  • @FindingNinoKawasaki lmfao awesome descrip bro

  • Hit the nail on the head.

  • Stop fucking explaining and get to the loop already

  • LMAO!! Cheers! You made my day.

  • Amazing! If anyone wants clean Amen samples, then look at ragga-jungle(.)com.

  • yo dat wuz crazy!! how did u make the "warp" part on ur song? i really would like to no

  • It's a simple sample I have, but if you have a 'donk' type bass sound, just reverse it.

  • yo do u mind sending me the sample ? theres not dat many good basslines on fl studio haha

  • I didn't know you could talk, John! :P

  • Hey man, I was just wonderin' what was the sound you added before the drums came in?

It sounded like a reversed cymbal or something.

  • Ah yeah, it was a cymbal from a Jazz package I downloaded, I just reversed and timestretched it.

  • Hey, nice vid. That's how I like to chop me amens. I have somethin to ask though... how do you make a really nice sub bass like that? I'm really struggling, if you could help it'd be much appreciated :)

  • Hi mate, cheers for the kind words. To get a good sub bass, open up the 3x Osc, and turn the third knob (CRS) on Osc 1 and Osc 2 right down to 0. Then you should have a nice clean bass to play with. If you have the keyboard activated, hit Z for a preview. If not, just set the key to C4. Hope this helps out.

  • Turning them down to 0 should be -24 semitones. :)

  • Forgot to mention turn Osc 3 Volume to 0!

  • how do you make that dead dred bass sounds???

  • Lol. I have a clean sample of the Dead Dred bass, but it's fairly easy to make one similar. If you have a 'donk' sounding bass sample, just reverse it.

  • okay, but can you make it with 3 osc?

  • Not that I know of, but I could send you the sample if you want it.

  • okay, me good

  • nice vid john thanks for the email :)

  • nice vid mate :)

  • Should come in handy when I start using FL.

  • Need to look into that, awesome breaks, nice pads in that. Cool tutoriol mate ;)

  • cool man....you got the roll!

  • cool!

  • Very nice John. I think your tutorial excellent it will help me alot. I will try to make samples of kicks and snares from the amen breaks too some times is more convenient to create in the sequencer roll. Congrats. 5*
