  • This is a 1986-1987 American Standard Cadet. You really lucked out finding one with its original flush handle. I have a 1921 Camden Pottery Co. reverse trap toilet that I rescued from the trash at a nearby house almost 3 months ago. I cleaned it up & posted 2 videos of it on my channel. Check them out if you get a chance! I also plan to install this toilet soon with the help of a friend. Nice find!

  • @MrBrombomb These Cadets are rare because its a round front, i have only seen back in 2003 in Howard Johnsons Hotel, which is in Las Vegas, NV

  • i will see thAT CADET THAt i wanted from the streets on a special time thank youi like your video

  • I saw a toilet like this on the streets. I took the lid home. It was from my cousin's apartment comlex. And old grandma that yelled at me...it could have been her. She was taking a dump and yelling at us kids. It has a fluidmaster 400a and it had a white refill tube with a fancy flapper. I wanted to take it home but my dad wouldn't let me. It was sooo dirty!! Thanks, like your video! :)

  • american standard plebe

  • I think I have seen one of these toilets before....

  • Why can you still flush it? Wouldn't the water spill out?

  • LOL!

  • Nice!

  • Cool!

  • Good ole reliable full flow toilet! I salvaged vintage ones for my house and shop also. Full flow toilets are as good and reliable as full power preheat fluorescent light fixtures!

  • total toilet flushing epicness

  • Another youtube first from dieselducy

  • First time I have seen anyone do that! LOL! OMG!

  • we have a Toliet Sitting in our Backyard Right Now....it was Replaced...but it still works great so were keeping it and putting it in another Bathroom.

  • Outhouse-house=out?

  • u shoulda pooped in it first!! LOL!

  • @therealjimguy Only do that with a hooked up toilet - anyways, that is porn stuff. So don't unless you are not filming.

  • good choice. it still looks clean. first time I've seen it done outside.

  • i gotta sloan flushmate......i can flush a cat.

  • Love that! I never thought of that being possible, but it makes sense of course. Great idea.

  • Now that is funny!

  • i think it is from the 1960's due to the logo

  • @nikkotg78 in 1960's it used to be having the gothic style logo, this one is actually from 1985 or 1986 since it has the gold block logo

  • @Vintagetoilets66

The AS block logo originally appeared on bowls in 1968 (it was a print logo from 1965-86), but the trip lever suggests it is a 1987 due to the logo style on it.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X Might be.

  • 1980s american-standard cadet

  • you call them commodes there?? here we call them toilets

  • A commode here in the UK is an armchair with a chamber pot fixed in a compartment under a hinged seat, for people with mobility problems. Not as popular as they once were, in 12 years in a furniture company I think we sold half a dozen. Most of them went to old folks' homes.

The things you can talk about on you tube!

  • Okay...

  • Sitting outside, enjoying the sunrise, taking a dump.

  • @georgef551 lol

  • @cannycart

Try to explain this to the neighbors....and Police....

  • @georgef551 that would be awsome

  • @Bobbyjoesnose

"What? Haven't seen somone use a toilet before?!"
