Flakey is a word commonly used to refer to women. It's not as directly associated as the word "bitch" maybe, but male politicians are never referred to as "flakey". George W Bush is a classic example. He got very important facts wrong all the time. No one ever used "flakey" as a descriptor, by friend or foe. It might seem like more of a stretch, but I think it's still somewhat valid.

The hate on Obama using teleprompters always sort of baffles me. Lots of Presidents used teleprompters. I'd dare say most of them do - considering the amount of speeches a President has to do, it'd be a little insane to think he needs to memorize them all or say them completely off the cuff. Hell, given the number of mistakes Bachmann's made, she should think about getting a good teleprompter.

I really wish that people wouldn't use words like "flakey" or "bitch" when referring to female politicians, even if they are as ignorant and incompetent as Bachmann. I'm so tired of seeing every female politicians coloured by her gender.
Additionally, I believe when she "blamed" Obama's teleprompter.. I believe that was a joke. Saying "I'm not perfect, but Obama has fucked up too." Not that it was a good joke.. but really taking it so literally isn't to this guy's credit.

Flakey is a word commonly used to refer to women. It's not as directly associated as the word "bitch" maybe, but male politicians are never referred to as "flakey". George W Bush is a classic example. He got very important facts wrong all the time. No one ever used "flakey" as a descriptor, by friend or foe. It might seem like more of a stretch, but I think it's still somewhat valid.

The hate on Obama using teleprompters always sort of baffles me. Lots of Presidents used teleprompters. I'd dare say most of them do - considering the amount of speeches a President has to do, it'd be a little insane to think he needs to memorize them all or say them completely off the cuff. Hell, given the number of mistakes Bachmann's made, she should think about getting a good teleprompter.

Wasn't that customary before Obama invented the teleprompter system (that's a joke son) which does not require the speaker to look DOWN at notes?
