About that 50% not paying tax at all, for one thing, there are still payroll taxes, which as Warren Buffet kindly pointed out make up a much higher percentage of smaller paychecks, as they're capped at about the $100,000 range. They still pay a car tax, a property tax, a sales tax, state income tax etc.

@uiruu the ratings are the topping on the cake. fox has a conservative SLANT, which means most of the journalist/pundits lean towards the conservative point of view, but has vastly more journalistic integrity than the other 2 news networks. This means, as I've said before, is that they report more of the whole story than the other networks. MSNBC is an example of bias.

The only liberal regularly on Fox was Alan Colmes, who is now gone (Hannity didn't like the truth coming out of him). The day Fox News gives 3 hours every day to a liberal is the day we can even 'consider' whether there's a comparison.
And, even MSNBC's most liberal opinion shows use FACTS, unlike Fox's Hannity, Beck, Fox & Friends.

It is okay that fox news is biased but fox's problem is that they keep claiming to be fair and balanced. Hence when you claim you are fair and balance and don't give straight unbiased news then your being hypocritical. And that is why I feel that the criticism of fox news receives is valid.

I've posted for ten years that Fox "news" for the most part is unfair, imbalanced, an unashamed. Now, even some of the Conservative Republican leadership is finally conceding this. Bush's David Frum went even further by stating it used to be Fox taking marching orders from Republicans, now it's Republicans taking marching orders from Fox, with their propagandized "Tea Parties". Further, even Fox owner Rupert Murdoch conceded he has a right-wing agenda, documented on video in his own words.

Fox news may be biased, but I didn't appreciate the removal of the context from a lot of these clips, it means that I can't objectively evaluate any bias within them other than just accepting your word for it. There was even some selective editing in there so as to increase the perceived bias. I fully believe that Fox News is an extension of the Republican Party, but don't let yourself stoop to the same level of distortion.

About that 50% not paying tax at all, for one thing, there are still payroll taxes, which as Warren Buffet kindly pointed out make up a much higher percentage of smaller paychecks, as they're capped at about the $100,000 range. They still pay a car tax, a property tax, a sales tax, state income tax etc.

@uiruu the ratings are the topping on the cake. fox has a conservative SLANT, which means most of the journalist/pundits lean towards the conservative point of view, but has vastly more journalistic integrity than the other 2 news networks. This means, as I've said before, is that they report more of the whole story than the other networks. MSNBC is an example of bias.

The only liberal regularly on Fox was Alan Colmes, who is now gone (Hannity didn't like the truth coming out of him). The day Fox News gives 3 hours every day to a liberal is the day we can even 'consider' whether there's a comparison.
And, even MSNBC's most liberal opinion shows use FACTS, unlike Fox's Hannity, Beck, Fox & Friends.

Abdulla mate. In case you didnt realise that almost every western news program has a bit of racism and bias in it. Maybe you havn't lived in a western country long enough to just block it out. But then I'm sure you already know that in Eastern countries and the Middle East they are a million times more biased and racist. So just be thankful for what you have. I've posted for ten years that Fox "news" for the most part is unfair, imbalanced, an unashamed. Now, even some of the Conservative Republican leadership is finally conceding this. Bush's David Frum went even further by stating it used to be Fox taking marching orders from Republicans, now it's Republicans taking marching orders from Fox, with their propagandized "Tea Parties". Further, even Fox owner Rupert Murdoch conceded he has a right-wing agenda, documented on video in his own words.

Fox news may be biased, but I didn't appreciate the removal of the context from a lot of these clips, it means that I can't objectively evaluate any bias within them other than just accepting your word for it. There was even some selective editing in there so as to increase the perceived bias. I fully believe that Fox News is an extension of the Republican Party, but don't let yourself stoop to the same level of distortion.
