  • D'accord, micha78able.

  • I was in Nairobi School in completing form 6....going to teach b4 results and University. Nayebi lingala moke moke

  • Or me you goy my tears rolling thinking of the past and all my hommies lined up in the grave, Or Nairobi i miss you like crazy. thankyou Rahndi

  • This is definitely one of the best ever pieces delivered by Le Grand Maitre and his incredible line-up. Can be watched and listened to forever with growing pleasure.

Have you noticed the flying substitution on several instruments in the beginning of the song? Reminds me of icehockey substitutions... Was that part of the show? Or the result of a union agreement? Or just a matter of pure chance? :) Anyway, a classic, one for the ages.

  • Papa Noel is a genius, there was a remake on the Kita Mata album with Gerry on solo I think? Is the original like 16 minutes cause some of the CD version aren't that good.

  • Another fantastic video I could only have dreamed of watching a while back. Thank you! I am one of many people who take a chance performing the songs without knowing the language. I love translations, but lessons in Lingala would be even more welcome!

  • papa noel is a genius!

  • 1St. Anniversary celebration of Madilu's life. Always remembered. Keep the legacy going..........

  • If this is the greatness that comgo promised, when did all the noise start, with this commercial movements that beat Decibel limits for africa. it is noise pollution that we hear these days

  • This is what I call music, classic and originality is always the best.

  • Hi all TPOK fans. Anybody can tell me the song " ILUNGA YA CHERRY" if not mistaken was a big hit in ealry 80, what is the tittle? I'm badly looking for it. Thanx in advance.

  • Can someone translate the whole song for us - the words sound so romantic. Thanks.

  • The silent role played by Madilu in this piece is a story to tell-some `heavy vocal impregnation`. Just how did Luambo manage to identify, nature and assemble these great musicians? I am told he used to monetarily reward his musicians very well, and that they did music on full time basis

  • GREAT line up ( L to R ) DJO MPOYI (R.I.P), NDOMBE OPETUM, MADILU SYSTEM (R.I.P), DJOSKY KIAMBUKUTA.

MADILU SYSTEM(1950-2007) SADLY MISSED AND ALL WILL KEEP HIS LEGACY GOING.

  • RIP Madilu (August 11 2007) August 11 is Madilu day this should be TPOK fans holiday

  • My all time favorite OK Jazz Album. Originally composed either 1980 Or 1981.Other songs include TOKOMA BA CAMARADE, AZONI, NA BALI MISERE. Madilu joined later.

  • I have this CD, Lukusa is a wrong title for it. It is as put

  • Tokabola sentiment is the right title and it was composed by kiambukuta londa aka DJOSKY.

  • Kenyans call it KIZUNGUZUNGU, right?

  • NO, KIZUNGUZUNGU means VERTIGO.and tokabola sentiment by the way means LET'S SHARE JOY OR HAPPYNES(romantic language).

  • this song is one of my favourites!

  • Brings memories of the early 80s. This is when Madilu had just joined TPOK Jazz, was still timid and finding his way before later becoming one of the major vocalists.

  • Whaaah ! ! ! breathtaking.

  • Oh boy! The dancers..no words! What year was this song done? Thanks Rahndi

  • Woooooooh!

  • I cant ask for more!!!!
