  • You did a good job with this, Thank you very much

  • leaders of g8 build the house ---wakikuyu!

  • @RNdannu: If it were possible to charge Maina, as head of Mungiki, for the crimes allegedly committed; and the country's legal system is allowed to investigate & follow the evidence wherever it leads to, then I am all for it. However, you and I know that Kenya is notorious for the impunity with which its leaders & those well connected act. Why target Maina when those that allegedly financed his actions are not being held to account? Why do you think our leaders are terrified of Ocampo of the ICC

  • @RNdanuu: I hear you & fully understand your sentiment. Let me say that I can't respond to your hypothetical question. I also know that as a country, we need to forgive & move forward. This is a sentiment from one whose uncle was assassinated in Kenya! I find it extremely hypocritical that people are baying for Maina's head while those that rob the country are being chauffered around. If some good can come from reconciling Maina back into the society; along with his fellow Mungikites...why not??

  • @Woud1Kano, I think there is something you're quite either not understanding or you're being ignorant to. My Point is, Maina should face the Justice and accept the responsibility of his bad and illegal behavior. When someone commits a crime he or she should be held responsible and accountable for that, no matter who they are? Do you agree with me on that? Whats wrong with Maina being send back to Jail for his crimes??? Tell me. Or What is your Point?

Can somebody else come and coment on this?

  • You see this is Kenya, a country which glorifies thugs and the innocent but poor suffer in the hands of the justice system, look at this dude his so called youth alliance has butchered people the other one was cleared and even had the chance to vie for a parliamentary seat

  • ati leaders of the world why doesnt he name them those are just our socalled mheshimiwas who funded him am just wonderin for how long?

  • Leadership in Kenya is very backward. why are Kenyans so blind? Maina the leader of mungiki has been on payroll from the goverment, uhuru kenyatta, njenga karume among others.he is not a changed man BUT part of the deal they made was that he doesnt disclose names of powerful figures and he will be set free and if he is to stay alive and free, he needs to transform the gang mungiki and show them other methods of income like farming. dont be fooled! he is evil like the rest of the government

  • what you are seeing the blood and swet of many innocent kenyans who died for no reason. the guy is evil. i see some people in here supporting these guy, why? is it okay to kill and take away peoples property? when did that become the norm?, you cannot try to justify what these cartoon has done. his hands are full of innocent blood. where in the world can you build a house like that when you don't have a job or a source of income? it is pathetic that most kenyans think like chickens.

  • Just wondering how stupid and foolish people can be..how would you wake up harrass people for thier hard earned cash only to fund an individual who lives lavishly as you die in hunger.bullshit brainwashed kikuyu youth..mungiki...

  • I LIKE THE REPORTER ATI AUTOPILOT

  • Tribalism is almost an instictive reflex that Kenyans default to when they cannot support a position.

@joseftaufera: I am not a Kikuyu; because I am not. But does it really matter what tribe I am? While I do not condone the violence attributed to Mungiki, I also see in Mr. Njenga, qualities that can benefit the country: He like someone who can teach and lead Kenya/ns irrespective of tribal affilitation to be come a nation that is self-reliant and productive.

    What is wrong with that?

  • Woud1Kano, Do You have Family?....Im What many would call a successful business man, If today I Kill your FAMILY, How would you feel, and What would be your expectation from the Justice System?Would you simply forgive me because I am a successful Business man, with 87 employees? Would you? As a proud Kenyan, I can assure you one thing, Maina was deeply involved in Mugiki killings. Maina is a Murder, He's supposed to be serving his time in Prison, Are you seeing my point?

  • Lol @ 0:57! That cow is more gangsta than Njenga

  • Just for the record: I am a Luo...and I have seen the evils of tribalism..but Bwana Njenga is no different than Uhuru..Ruto or even Raila...All these guys have a political base that they can sway one way or the other. Based on this clip..Njenga seems pragmatic and willing to use his power for the common good..the likes of Uhuru and Ruto don't seem to realize their role as NATIONAL leaders..Raila is coming around to that realization...I won't be surprised of a Njenga/Raila coalition...

  • You need tobe gunned down Njenga. which world leaders are you talking about? Holding a panga, that is the money your boys get from the people you instruct them to kill.

  • The guy can mobilize, but he definitely lacks foresight. Building big homes, and accumulating personal property, is the first fall because with the millions mungiki extort they should have a legit empire. Also Kenyan TV needs to stop glorifying politicians and aspirants alike or give equal airtime to everyone.

  • nice farm/shagz

  • what is this illiterate mungiki thug trying 2 tell us here? and he is still wielding a panga. kenya tumekwisha

  • Comment removed

  • Maina Njenga sounds like the late IDI AMIN of Uganda. A criminal, a murderer and extortionist blatantly lying before national and international media. Semi-educated the guy is not able to censor his own lies nor mind what people think about what he saying. Who are these "Leaders of the world" who gathered together to raise money for him! And where are these leaders when true victims around the country are suffering?

  • Was Pres Obama among the leaders of the world that helped...lol

  • OK, jokes aside... Yes, if each of our leaders was as progressive as this guy - with all the money they make thorugh us in parliament and other arms of government then Kenya would be a developed country. I seriously look forward to the changes that will come about as a result of Mr. Njenga's release from King'ong'o.

  • And if he runs on an ODM and benefits the country...what is wrong with that?

Our current crop of leaders are just as shrouded in violence as Mr. Njenga is alleged to be..and hopefully, Mr. Ocampo will unmask them.

  • There are over 40 Million Kenyans Woud! There got be somebody else...look around some more.

  • All that with a panga in hand....

  • why is tha dude still holding a panga?...lol

  • This man; his association with Mungiki notwithstanding has something the country regardless of tribe can benefit from. He is well-spoken and seemingly very successful. I won't even deign to discuss the origin of his wealth but if he can use it for the greater good, then he will have done more than most of our so-called leaders. Mr. Njenga is practical and emphasizes self-determination. To paraphrase the Desiderata: Listen to even those you have disagree with; they also have something to say.

  • Oh yeah? He will be running on an ODM ticket n 2012 n very likely in Embakasi so relax he is all yours.

Yu got him hook, line and sinker! Its a rat race after all!

  • you are clearly a Kikuyu...and mungiki member for that matter

  • Josenaziftaufera: so? Woud is what he is...why yu care? Yu wht are ur views?

Stop acting like a caged baboon tht can only utter one word 'Kikuyumungiki'...expand ur whinny dictionary! try paranoid for a start.
