No wonder I cant summon this zord in real life. I always forgot to do the annoying dance to summon then O.o Really is neccesary to do it every episode to call the megazords lol
It wasn't that, but Kakuranger (The true Ninja Rangers, but whom we call the Alien Rangers) only had Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, and White. Unfortunately, that means one ranger would have to be left out. Personally, I thought Saban should have made a Green Kakuranger/Alien Ranger costume for Tommy and brought back Tor instead of Titanus.
If there was no pink ranger then why the Pink Shogunzord in the american toys? Cuz if you look hard there is a pinkshogunzord in titanus as a toy being used as the actual zord TV footage in MMPR season 3 both in the credits and when the fightscenes.
Bandai America is retarded, that's why. They always had to make the American versions different than the Japanese under contract. They just went overboard with Shogun Megazord. They also thought that the Pink Ranger was most likely to be the pilot of the White Shogunzord. As for the American scene, they just used an American toy for the footage.
@trekkeriii It wasn't retarded. If they'd left it white, they would have received angry letters and possibly lawsuits from people who don't watch the show accusing them of being sexist for leaving out the pink ranger. And retailers have this habit of bailing on toys at the first sign of trouble.
It does. Believe it or not, they were living things, Saban (along with zords in the first two seasons) decided to make them machines in PR since they looked so much like machines.
In kakuranger the Shogun zords were actually introduced first, then the ninja zords. The Falcon zord was actually an independent entity, the white ranger in that piloted the crane zord.
@dragonstormx Also, whatever episode "Hydro Hog" came from (just another monster in Kakuranger, not an archenemy, it was "Master Vile") is when the Falconzord was introduced, and combined with the Shogun Megazord for the first time. I think soon after that we saw the Ninjazords if I remember correctly. Another thing worth pointing out is that the white zords act female because the white ranger was female (the Kakuranger morphed footage was used briefly as the Alien Rangers).
Daimaou's glasses make him look stupid. His American counterpart Master Vile came off as something of a coward since he ran away after one battle when he didn't even seem the injured. This time he actually did look hurt.
Wonder why they cut this and so many other great battles out. This could have easily fit into Season Three during the small time period with Master Vile.
That monster has a nice set of tits. Also I got to go back and watch the movie. It was actually pretty good. And that thing does not look like an ape if I ever did see one. Also the blue wolf graphics was awesome! Wolves, some of my most favorite animals.
@dmfighter Well, a lot of monster suits fell apart and prevented them from doing ranger battles, so the Zord fights for them were also unused. Then there were a few that were left out because of time and story reasons.
Not used in MMPR. It was used in Kakurangers. There was quite a bit of Kakuranger footage that didn't make MMPR S3. Just most likely didn't fit the storyline of Season 3.
@trekkeriii yeah that really pissed me off. The MMPR season 3 had the potential to be the most kickass, awesome of all power ranger seasons, but instead a LOT of the footage from the original was bluntly ignored. Really, what would have been cooler than having the zords actually TALK for a change. Would have been sweet!
@GreggMays64 yeah. It just annoyed me that they removed that, it would have made the destruction of zords more tragic than it was. Now its a big "oh, the zords are destroyed? Well lets get some new ones"
@michelrpg Sod you. Sod you with lit dynamite. It was plenty tragic as it was, thank you very much. Fully sentient Zords would make the audience question why the @#$% pilots were needed at all.
@ZeldaTheSwordsman it was tragic because when you watched it you were a little kid, and you just saw awesome robots being destroyed. But thats all it was. And if the audience would question stuff like that I'd refer them to a dozen other shows that handled the topic of humans doing stuff the other creatures/robots/etc couldnt do.
I liked their Shogun-Megazord better than the Ninja Megazord....it just looked goofy.

they don't make zord battles like this anymore.

This has to be, to this date, the only good-looking monster I've ever seen. Female monsters usually just look weird like their male counterparts.

Liked the thunder sound effects, although you could've also added in the old castle thunder sound effects used in the old days as well.

"Invincible Shogun appears"
Daimaou: Dammit, why does that he always have to that. Oh well it doesn't matter I'll...
"continues ranting while Invincible Shogun combines with Tsubasamaru and shoots him."
Daimaou: Bastard! HOW DARE YOU SHOOT ME WHEN I'M GLOATING! Now I have run away like a coward!
Monster that he left behind: Fuck.
