Regarding the term ‘ habesha ‘ it was a name given to Ethiopian’s by outsiders. But what they call the people habesha? Obviously, it is because the people are mix. For instance let take Somalis. The founders of major Somali clans Darod, Isaaq, Hawiye etc are Arabs who came to Africa in 10th or 11th century and today, if we look their physical appearance, we can’t deny the fact that Somalis are mix people.
