Cool to see im not the only hyperion user out there. My hyperion mines 968m³ per minute. Which is almost 2 times better than a retriever.

Also the hyperion can fit a lot more drones than a retriever and go faster. When im bored with mining I simply do some lvl 4's. I love the hyperion because of it's versatility.

the song is by muki, it's called "I don't want to know". the video was shot in the juunigaishi belt as we were all based around juuni for carebear mission running at the time.

why didn't we use other ships? it's not like we really WANTED to mine. we just hung out on teamspeak laughing and drinking and everyone grabbed whatever ship he currently had (f)lying around... the rest is history :)

Lawls hope your not training for exhumers in high sec space, since its pretty much useless (In my opinion) Mackinaws are the only good T2 Mining barges for high-sec (Ice fields of course, Mackinaws ARE Ice miners afterall) Anyhow hulks are alot better in 0.0 but thats ONLY if you have a corp who owns sov to its region! then its uber fun to have your main char sit there with its hyp an just destroy them with drones while other char mines with T2 barges

Oh and comparing the capacity of a mining Nyx to a hulk is a little silly. A hulk will out mine a nyx and is considerably cheaper...

Nyx would be horrible miner for one the max drones u can send out in a carrier or MS is 14 or 16 i cant remember which but mining drones can only do 30 or so m3 a cycle even then im pretty sure a hulk/convector would out mine it allthough it is a good idea to mine with something that big u would be restricted into low sec so u will need to have some fighters out to protect u so that means only 5-10 mining drones so in the end its no use trying
