  • I could listen to this song all day long

  • @gcvorcaro1 it is pointless to be using a matx mobo in such a large and capable case...i agree that a matx mobo has more than enough features on it to satisfy the average user but this case is simply not meant for the average pc builder

  • @IamMartinski if corsair made the case capable of holding an matx mobo, then it isn't pointless...

And you said that this case isn't meant for the average PC builder. Show me the sentence that says that in the manual...

  • He's using mATX especially so he can show you the extra grommets you get by using that small a board.

  • He's not trying to impress, he's trying to show you how easy and spacious this case is. Not building a monster computer here...

  • name of the song?????

  • amazing case love it thumbs up guys!!!!!!!!

  • For such an awsome case this guy makes it look so shit.

  • Ever heard of lights? Fucking like my basement

  • I am so sold on this tower I am going to comp USA and pick it up. Awesome case for my water cooling setup. Thanks for the great vid corsair; this has got to be one of the best cases that I’ve seen in a while.

  • Really helped me out fast without a lot of messing around. Thanks!!!

  • lol that mobo is so small in there.

  • surprised to see a big fucking case with a small motherboard.

  • "it gives you plenty of length" thats what she said

  • GODD VID, ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THAT MUSIC PLAYING PLEASE?

  • why a rampage 3 gene, why not an extreme? Silly!

  • It would have been better to use the Noctua NH-d14 cpu cooler because it works much better than the h50 and mushkin ram but that is relatively new as the cpu cooler. It would be great to see a Corsair case taking on the Lian Li feature of locking the power supply and use the tool-less plug-ins for the video card. Also maybe include the lock feature as Lian Li has for the Hard drives and ease of installation for the intake fans. If Corsair had that it would be good but Lian Li is much better.

  • @IgOrvElJo i think there using all the corsair components they can, hence the case, psu, ram, h50, also the 800d is pretty crap for air cooling, better to use one of those shitty all in one water cooling system's in said case, this case was always more well designed for watercooling really

  • @gerardbiteme Just because it was only meant to for WC doesn't mean you should rule out air cooling for this case. Just gotta do a few mods and take advantage of the free space up top to add good fans to it . And also replace the stock fans cause they are crap. This is exactly my build with the corsair 800d. Added 5 additional fans and the temps are pretty decent. Eventually I'll go WCing once I'm confident about it enough to not risk having a leak.

  • @buttah4269 EXACTLY! you paid £200+ roughly for a case and then had to pay extra to get some decent fans for it? Thats ridiculous!

  • @gerardbiteme

Or, Corsair let's you buy a case for 200 pounds leaving you the option of what cooling fans to install instead of throwing 7 fans in you don't really want and asking 250 pounds for the case.

  • @gerardbiteme Gotta somehow make things work with a case you absolutely love! xD

  • @buttah4269 fair enough, :D well if you love it then then thats all that matters really :D just like I love the xigmatek Eylsium, and the tj11, there not perfect, but by god are they good for what i want :D

  • @gerardbiteme Oh man I thought the TJ11 was such a nice case. Was deciding between this and the TJ11. Fantastic look, fully customizable, 90 degree angle setup. But 13 drive bays! For me, that is just way too much lol

  • @buttah4269 Well if you stick a 4 x 140mm rad in the bottom you'd have to remove the bottom hard drive cage anyway, I really don't like the rotated motherboard tray in the tj11, for a case of that size I think it would have been so much better if they'd just left it the normal way round, would have meant I'd have been able to get about 3 separate radiators in there, but with how it is, its more inclined for air cooling, but silverstone have tried to make it good for watercooling as well...

  • @buttah4269 and kinda missed in my opinion, I hate those massive holes in the side of the case under the motherboard for the air penatrator fans to draw air in. grrr. Even the Xigmatek isn't perfect, wish they'd just put a decent large side panel in it and better cable routing options and something to cover up the second cpu retention slot. But OH WELL :)

  • What's the name of the loop [music]?

  • love the way you lie :D

  • Name of song please :)

  • @leanlifter 0_o

  • @leanlifter quiet, troll..

  • Can you top mount that H50?

  • Why would you ever put a mATX board in a case that big? kind of a waste.

  • bahahaha Matx motherboard in the biggest case!

  • wtf is this shit......

  • Now, are u sure the pc is working? I just installed mine great cabling n shit and then the magic touch on the power button, just didnt do a shit.. Motherboard broke...

  • sigh, i've said it on another 3 vids for this case and i'll say it agian, in what world is anyone that's likely to be buying this case also likely to be building a system with a mATX board, it's like doing a vid for a ferrari f40 and putting a 4cyl diesel in it

  • Is it weird to cum to a case?

  • @patrikk777 no then u will be able to say i have watercooling :P

  • nice case but the matx killed it!

  • really nice case

  • That case is beautiful. I'd definitely buy it if it had more honeycomb ventilation or some colour flares like red or blue tinges here and there.

Nice case though, love the cable management idea.

  • This case cost $AU 432.00

  • @thomisonnnnn Yes but the australian dollar is a terrible currency.

  • @WhatTehFux ermm, have you looked at the current exchange rate? AUS is as much as or even higher then the US dollar

  • @Soman74899829 Yes, that's a bad thing. For australians, at least.

  • @WhatTehFux wouldnt it be bad for americans?,now that we can get these products for cheaper? o_0

  • @Soman74899829 Both the american currency and Australian currency are bad.

  • @WhatTehFux uh huh -__-"

  • this mobo is pretty small, compared to this tower

  • I installed the intake for the H50 at the top of the 800D and left the rear exhaust fan alone. I also installed two exhaust fans at the top of the case as well as the H50 intake which are controlled by a Scythe fan controller so I only have them on when I am under heavy loads. I have an i7 920 overclocked to 3.6 GHz with no cooling problems whatsoever. This case is BIG and cools nicely. Check out my video on you tube: The Corsair Project. Buy this case you will love it.

  • @naka538 coukdnt agree more with ya.. its

    clean

inside the case.. but behind motherboard tray gets bit messy if u have few hard drive and cathode lights.. one thing i hate about this case is that behind the motherboard tray u only get 1cm gap between panel. which means u have to everything very flat to clse the panel without any part sticking out. 24pin connector is quite thick so if thats overlapping some other cable it will intrude the caspanel.

  • OVERKILL!!! using an obsidian 800d for a mATX...if you wanna do something to impress us make a config with the EVGA SR2(eATX)...now that's a motherboard!

  • @IamMartinski that's what i mean...corsair si such a big company yet they cant get atleast an atx mobo for a vid

have you seen the graphite 600T? eugh

  • @IamMartinski That mobo is EATX

  • @IamMartinski That mobo is XLATX

  • @IamMartinski They would use a (eATX) board without a question. I know I would! But they use a micro mother board in order to make the case show off all of its cable management holes. Makes it look bigger. Bigger case= Bigger sales

  • @IamMartinski, EVGA SR2 is HPTX size, only with a modification to 800d can you put that motherboard in. Check out Trubyd44's channel for more info on a Corsair 800d SR2 build.

  • @IamMartinski this isnt dressed to impress.. these videos are made to explain how to install pc components to help noobs be more confident, and in doing so, corsair hopes they will buy their products.

  • @IamMartinski the sr2 is an hptx board not eatx

  • @IamMartinski Do you now what they are used to?

  • @IamMartinski fyi the sr2 is a HPTX form factor,not eATX

  • @IamMartinski Eh, sometimes you need overkill. You ever see Quad SLI GTX 580's on a Core i7 990X? Sort of overkill, right?

  • @SmexxiWaffles He means the case is overkill for the motherboard

  • @dave5785568 Yeah, I know that. It was pretty obvious when he said "OVERKILL!!!", So that sort of gave it away.

  • @IamMartinski dude, theres still some people who thinks about live savings!

  • @IamMartinski fail comment, you don't seem to see the point of the video...

  • @IamMartinski lol would that fit? And yeah thats what she said..

  • @IamMartinski Even though the SR-2 is a HPTX size board, it dwarfs E-ATX

  • @IamMartinski lol sorry i'm responding to a year old comment but the sr2 isn't eATX nor xlATX. its HPTX. which is waaay bigger than an xlATX and it won't fit in this case

  • Using the H50 fan to intake means theres no fan exhausting the air out of the case except if he add an additional fan, but thats not included. Corsair should include three fans at the top, that would be nice.

  • FAIL they didn't put the front panel connectors in!!!!!!!!!!!! lies of it being clean!

  • what a great case !

  • The video is too quiet, I had to turn off my music.

  • This is kinda a bit too quiet though.

  • hmm.... this convinces me to get uATX since they cost less and etc.

  • It is hard to see when all cables and the interior of the case are all black. What's the deal with all cases going in and out black? Thanks.

  • @orestesdd black is more gangster

  • this is the best case in the world, no competition...

  • @AngryBF2Nerd

    jeah i´m totally your opinion

    good job corsair!!

  • Corsairs new ad campaign is really making me want to build my own custom pc. And all with Corsair components. XD :)

  • grommit

  • that case is almighty future proof :D I WANT! because i have no case :S just a metal box.

  • @jdcrispe95 - Lol, Ghettotastic.

  • @MyRandomReviews lol if u see my video, you will see what my computer looks like :L its called "MY ROOM SETUP HD"

  • Can you hire me to corsair company? :D

  • I just want the exact pc to build by myself :(

  • I'd love to see an aircooled-optimized chassi from you, i don't count the 600T as that looks too cheap. I like the elegant 800D-look.

Perhaps with a door, made with the same figures as the Hotswap-bay, the thick metal there just makes my chest warm.

  • Question, what is the black stuff on those cables and does it come on when you buy the parts?

  • @SuchAComic

Do you mean the sleeving, on every cable from the PSU?

If you do, no. It comes with the PSU, or you could sleeve your PSU with sleeving from MDPC-X, but you have to make sure you know how to, so you don't break it.

And yes, the Chassi is godlike to work in, too bad it sucks for aircooling, it's a watercooling case but i got it cheap, i fixed the temps by switching the exhaust fan on the back to an intake and putting two fans on the top.

  • 3:35

Hahaha he put the sata cable from the optical drive through the hotswap cable management hole!

  • they should start making blacked out motherboards..... so when someones looks inside the case they go like, wheres the motherboard?? and i mean everything black... the heatsink, connectors for ram/pci slots.

  • man you didnt even start the system

  • i wan't this case so bad!

  • Corsair is the besT!

  • CLEAN!!!!! Crazy expensive case, big/bulky & reportedly heavy, but i'm 99% sold

  • The two holes at the bottom for PSU cables are two small!

  • Comment removed

  • name of song?

  • Loving that setup. So clean! Great air flow too by the looks of it.

  • i like the case, and the space it gives for.... everything?

the water cooling system is neet for the cpu, and can install dual fans for rams, but what if i wanted to get a water cooling system for the vga? can only figure out 1 place for the fan of the cpu cooling system...

  • Good build, nice and clean but ... that motherboard? you really need something bigger like an ATX or eATX board.

  • Were you using a Modular power supply?

  • "The corsair obsidian, when chuck norris meets jesus."

  • what a great case and video so tidy love it

  • i like it very much but if you dont have liquid cooling, this case is the worst case scenario for air cooling

  • did u plug the front i\o

  • Motherboard looks lost in there....

  • Were can I get that case ???

  • Comment removed

  • best computer case even designed by mankind

  • @danthaman7777 I could build u a system, with a full tower case it only takes about 30 minutes because they have a lot of room to work in

  • Sweet. It's even big enough to fit 4 to 6 hamster wheels in it. Talk about smart. 5 stars. Now I can play Bad Company anywhere without running out of power. I just need to feed hamsters to power it.

  • best case in the world ^^

  • very nice case. when I upgrade again, this will be my case!

  • Very Impressive, I believe I found a replacement for my Antec Nine Hundred!

  • @JPCreativePro

    Same here. ;)

  • The H50 cooler fan is loud! I replaced it with a Noctua 140mm fan wich can run in 750rpm, 950rpm and 1200rpm.

  • @Nefus2

Try Scythe Ultra Kaze @ 3000 rpm

    THIS is loud

  • guy looks like he just made love to that computer he just built with his shit eating grin! rofl!

  • holy shit nice~~ if i paid u can u build me a system :D

  • I like the huge case, mATx mobo setup there :)

  • impressed!

  • wat power supply is that?

  • I love this case but at $300!!! I mean I'm no cheap person by any standards but I could never justify paying that for a case. It's a very convenient and slick chassis but for $300 I need some "love you long time" thrown in with it. I would pay $200 without a doubt tho :)

  • @bigrock212121

They offer a 700D model with the same chassis but without the hot swap the clear window for 250, keep in mind the case will be there for years while your other components will fail/become obsolete/ or you just get bored with the current build but this case will be there in the long run, it's best to invest in the case more than anything.

  • What mobo is used?

  • a mid tower version of this quality tower would sell like hotcakes

  • That Cable Managment Is Awesome i would wish an Mid Tower in This Design Of The 800D

  • that case is the case of GOD COMPUTER

  • @luis61961944 God's computer would have a removable motherboard tray. That's not to say the 800D is a bad case, in fact it's a very nice one, but a motherboard tray would really simplify cleaning and heatsink reseating.

  • @baronofcheese he is GOD he can remove it with his power (:

  • @luis61961944 Following your logic he wouldn't even need a computer in the first place, so the point's moot =P

  • @baronofcheese lol your killing me man just say "your so rigth" that would make me happy (:

  • @luis61961944 Um, "your so rigth"?

  • So it comes with the 8 pin extension cable?

  • @johnyrockshell Yes, but if you plan on installing any drives in the higher drive bays you might need another extension cable for them, depending on your PSU.

  • I'm officially in love with Corsair. They've answered all my prayers. The 8-pin CPU power cabel was so difficult to connect to my motherboard in my Antec case. Corsair, gave me an extension. Plus you can even have massive water cooling systems built in! THANK YOU SO MUCHG CORSAIR!!!

  • Nerdtronx don't give up cuz of age I just finished my first build and I'm 15

  • Man, computer building looks so fun, I wish I could do it but i'm only 13. :(

  • @NerdTronX idd dont give up, im 15 and im about to build my 2nd pc

  • @MartinKARRR Im 13 and i built a gaming PC in a mid tower case.

-Ati radeon hd 5850 stock speeds

    -AMD phenom II x4 925 @ 2.8GHz

    -500 GB hard drive

    -4 GBs of RAM DDR3

    -Windows 7 Ultimate.

  • @NerdTronX If you want help PM i'm the same age and built my own PC. I'll tell you good CPU's and GPU's that fit your budget

  • @NerdTronX I made my computer when I was 13, it wasn't that hard :)

  • @NerdTronX dont get discouraged, I made my first computer when I was 13. Talk to your parents about it. If you cant pay for all of it make a bargain with them, tell them you'll help around the house more. And believe it or not, Its doesn't have to be that expensive to do. Hope this helped

  • @NerdTronX ah my friend, my brother is 11, he's about to buy a computer with the 5830, 4GB DDR3, and an i7! He earned the money in a few months, but if you can just earn the money, you can greatfully make yourself a PC!

  • @NerdTronX Just do your homework on the subject, learn how to guard against static, and you'll be fine. The main thing to remember though is not to rush, if it'll take you a week to build it as a consequence then that's ok, but it won't. I'm a horrible procrastinator and my first build only took a couple of days. You could probably do it in a few hours.

  • This case makes the mobo look sooooooo small unless thats a Micro ATX

  • According to Shazam on my iPhone the song is Mark Knight & Funkagenda - Man With the Red Face (Main Mix;mixed)

  • he didnt even put the sata power connectors..

  • I love this case, hopefully picking it up in 2 weeks cant wait!!!!!

also it is a very nice song in the background!

  • I love the song in the background, Corsair plz upload it!!!!

Btw this case is pure win;)

  • The case of my dreams.

  • awesome.. really too awesome..

  • Just ordered mine today

picking it up on the weekend cant wait XD

  • I'm not the first to ask, but what is the Soundtrack playing??? It sounds awesome, anyone knows? Very nice case...

  • @emquattro I agree! I love the song in the background, I think its a custom song. But damn Corsair, GIMME that song plz! =D=D

  • can't wait till i get one of these XD

  • He can't even reach to the back to fix the wires. He has to walk AROUND it.

  • Very impressed, just wondering the amount of room that is left when installing an E-ATX motherboard in this case ?

  • waaay too expensive corsair!!! 300 bucks?? I mean i can get a Silerver Stone Rv01 or rv 02 for 199 and they are both similar to this

  • it is too expensive yes

  • that is a CLEAN install

  • I MUST HAVE THIS CASE!

  • make a samller mid ower version!!!!!!

  • @Alwyn1000 Corsair 600T.

  • @GruntyStudios yea the 600t came out in computex but this commen was 3 months ago

  • @Alwyn1000 Yeah, I was just informing you anyway.

  • @Alwyn1000 corsair 700d

  • @SaludaUser 700d is an 800d without a window, still a full tower case

  • @Alwyn1000 AGREE this case is great but damn full towers are really big make a mid one

  • The best Case !!!

  • Awesome case, but I wish it were a little less expensive. Maybe they could make a slightly smaller version for $175-200..

  • Excellent video. I'm so pleased with my 800D.

  • Awesome.!

  • Come tax return this goes from my shopping cart to my front door! I can't freakin wait!

  • whats the motherboard in this video?

  • @n1cobisn1cob

    asus rampage 2 gene

  • ar
