@deltabluesrookie Thank you for your reply. I will be back in Provincetown, playing on Commercial Street the week of July 04, 2012. See ya there. Enjoy.
@anonymouslolxD Thank you for your comment. I actually sell many of my music and instructional video CDs internationally. There is still a very big interest in American Blues in England and Australia. Enjoy.
@ChrisGuitarded09 A friend of mine told me, if you are compared to a famous musician, that is a very nice compliment. I agree. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Enjoy.
@KeniLeeBurgess I can only imagine that it is indeed a compliment. But let me tell you (in my humble opinion): you sound (in this performance) much like a great Elmore James / Jimmy Reed combo! Also, some of your voice acting makes me wonder why do you have a tall building behind you instead of a cotton field!
@kojocel Thank you for your kind words. I have always considered being compared to famous musicians to be a very encouraging compliment. I lived down south for a short time while serving in the USAF and fell in love with the Blues. Although my renditions are not note for note covers, through my study of this style, I have been able to capture some of the original feeling and spirit. Enjoy.
Thank you for your comment. What I find interesting about this 2007 video is I was experimenting with my voice and various keys. Here I am playing up in Open E. Today 2 years later, I discovered I can sing stronger and better in the lower tuning of C#. It is also a lot easier on the old pipes. LOL Enjoy.
Thank you. In this area of Cape Cod a lot of Portugese settled. You can get bowls of soup made with kale and spicy sausage called linguica. They also make these delicious large fried donuts.
Love your stuff. Thanks for sharing. I now have the slide bug bad and am glad to have found you. Is that a tricone or single cone Donmo? I am considering buying one, your tone sounds great. Thanks
Thank you. Yes, I believe Donmo has a whole line. You should visit his site for more info. One point, the nut length of his guitars is shorter than on a National. It is closer to most common acoustics. This makes the spacing between the strings closer and in my opinion harder to fingerpick. You should make sure to play a guitar that is simular before purchasing.
Thank you. This was last year 2007 on vacation down the shore at Provencetown Mass. Cape Cod. It is a wonderful place to go busking. The people are generous and the weather can't be beat. Fantastic seafood!
Your welcome! Dont know if i'll visit the states soon but if i go there i think ill go see this place, looks realy nice and people look kind of friendly from what i can see.
Not a big fan of seafood but if there's sun and a nice atmosphere im happy!
Missisipi would be nice too, i'd like to go see Robert Johnsons Tombstone, you ever seen it Ken?
Yes i've heard that too, i think the one at the Little Zion Church is the real one but i guess no-one will ever know for sure. Only one thing is certain, they buiried him down by the highwayside ;)
well done again keni.. you really enjoyed that as much as the crowd its always better with an audience..just ordered my resonator from texas so i will be watching you closly..point of interest ( and this could create a big debate)..what is your favorite open tuning....thanks for sharing your love of music with us good man
Thank you. I lived in Texas for 3 years while I served in the USAF. A beautiful state. I mainly play is G/A Spanish and D/E Vestapol. Soon I'll post a video comparing the two. Many people think they are very different, but once you look a little closer, the simularities are apparent. It's all about the intervals. My selection mainly comes down to the required key for vocals.
Hello Jimbo. Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear you been working so hard. Glad you enjoyed the song. Try to remember to take the time to enjoy yourself. Life is way too short, and no sum of money can buy you one more day.
The problem is sometimes the people don't stop, they keep ramblin' right on by. Sometimes I sing, "Hey buddy, can you spare a poor boy a dime?" It usually turns a head or two.
fantastic stuff kenilee, i can see by the head ware it has to be 4/7/2007 or how you colonials put it 7/4/2007, but where is it ? looks like a theme park, anyway no matter thanks for posting,
It is Provincetown, Massachusetts. A sea port on Cape Cod. You can stay in a big old house, and rent a room called a "Bed and Breakfast" for not a lot of money. This is Commercial Street where all the stores and restaurants are located. Peaceful and relaxing. Lobster sandwiches, big fried donuts, great Pizza!
Thank you. I played about 3 or 4 times, for a couple of hours each session. Total was over $200 in singles, and two cups of change. I had some tasty lobster dinners to say the least! The people were very generous.
Thank you. You know, RJ's broom dusting lick is very powerful stuff. It really turns heads. It draws them in. I collected the most money when playing this song.
Next time you come back to Mass lemme know,. I'll come jam with ya man.

No, I haven't been to see RJ's grave. I hear there are two grave sites. I guess they are not sure where they laid him to rest. Just more RJ mystery.
