I'd use a Sega/Galoob Game Genie on my own games simply to research hidden content. And specifically rig certain game sequences to determine a certain outcome if I were making a TV show, movie, or webisode series (but never a game show, except when demonstrating its capabilities or accessing hidden content).
I'm only 20, and yet I'm a big nerd... and proud of it. I'm such a nerd to the point where I know how to get Gouki in Super Street Fighter II X: Grand Master Challenge. (>w<)
@RBEO22 Actually, it messes up the 72-pin cartridge connector on the front loader NES, and needed a rare adapter to work with the NES top loader. But as for messing up the games themselves, nah. They just need cleaning once in a while. I'm actually going to use the suggestion in SatoshiMatrix1's and DiggerandIndy's videos in my front loader, since I just got a new connector for mine, and don't want to mess it up.
Awesome you can cheat at Phantasy star but you cannot save the frikking game.
