    Thank you so much for this amazing recipe. This was my first time making cupcakes and they came out so good! I'm making them once again and I just wanted to tell you it is the easiest recipes, just like you said, and I've gained a whole new confidence in baking just because of it. Thank you !!   • Hi vaishu! Just wanted to say a big thank you for posting this recipe. Absolutely brilliant recipe. I've made them a few times and I can't believe how light the cupcakes turn out and how amazing they taste. For those that don't eat eggs it's hard finding a good, reliable recipe which will give you good results. But this delivers everytime. Thank you again!!

  • my cake turned outta be hard !!!! in my oven i have only till 250 celcius.i preheated the oven,and didnt even exactly keep for 17 min .!!!!!!!! the puffed but it got too hard and crispy !!!!

    the inner part was hollow !!!! i coudnt belive !!!!! pls help me,in which rack am i suppose to keep?? :-(

  • I just maid a batch of these cupcakes. I did not use the coco or the coffee i used 1 cup of coconut milk with every thing else and they came out grate. I top it with cream cheese frosting sprinkle with roasted coconut shaving . Thank you .

  • Hi!! thanks a lot for such a helpful video!! i have been baking for 2 yrs now and I just want to share a tip or two for even better outputs:

    Firstly, sift your dry ingredients like flour and cocoa, as this will make the cupcake/cake more lighter. Secondly, mix your dry and wet ingredients separately and then gently fold the dry mix into the wet mixture (don't whisk)

    I don't imply I'm a better baker than you, these are just tips I've read in various books that are tried and tested! thanks again!

  • Id like to thank you, ive had an egg allergy for 20 years now and ive never thought to make a cake without egg. May sound silly but it has just never accord to me that i was "allowed" haha! But i tried this at 23:57 on a saturday night because i just HAD To! Theyre currently in the oven, im hoping plain flour works well as its all i have! haha. Again, thank you :) Its made my evening!

    @ Animjat - Yes, you can make it plain like @gsobhana has said. Maybe add a teaspoon more of vanilla essence for more flavour.

  • @animjat, I followed the recipe exactly as vaishu had mentioned - except that I didn't add cocoa powder - but the water measurement stays as per the original recipe.

  • @gsobhana Hi gsobhana, please can you advise me of how I can turn this chocolate cake into a vanilla eggless cake? I want to make this for my friend who does not eat eggs. Is it possible to replace the coffee water with vanilla essence and just plain water? Thank you!!
