  • first of all the young rappers today can't sing, have no musicians, and talking a lot of nothing. Could this be a part of the social problems in our society today? Nobody is telling the young men and women to "stay on the "straight and narrow", these clowns do not want to hear nothing positive.

  • SON OF GUN; JUST MADE IT!!! In 1973 "Keeper Of The Castle'" peaked at No. 10 thus just making the Billboard's Top 10 and it spent a total of 12 weeks in the Top 100...

This was the Four Tops first record after leaving Motown...

  • Rember this from an LP I had called SUPERBAD. Really takes me back. Brilliant.

  • Who's singin about manhood nowadays? And levi and the tops were so consistent. Hands down my favorite male-vocal group of all time.

  • I really miss those days......

  • Magnificent, what a class act these guys were, not too keen on the outfits though.

  • i had no idea they played Soul Train on NHK?!?!!! awesome!!!

  • This song SPEAKS to my heart. It was never mentioned this way in the Bible, but I truly believe this is how Jesus intended for a real mean to act towards his children and to his wife. When hear hear this song I just hold her and tell her how much she means to me. Thanks Levi and even more... thank you Jesus.

  • I MISS AFROS

  • Oh, and I also miss wah-wah pedals. I think this song was from "Shaft in Africa" but after 40 yrs the memory's fuzzy.

  • @IrisMG no it was are you man enough from shaft in afica

  • @83getitin SUPERBAD was a Soul compilation album of various artists

  • I miss Levi, I miss the original Four Tops, I miss creative camera angles, I miss Soul Train, and I miss being a teen black girl in the 70s. I didn't know how good I had it. Only thing I don't miss is those sexist songs they had the Tops sing once they left Motown. Damn.

  • WHEN I WORKED @ THE HOSPITAL, BELIEVE IT WAS IN 2003, I HAD A HONOR OF PROVIDING MR. STUBBS' CARE. EVEN THOUGH INCAPACITATED TO A DEGREE, HE COULD STILL SING.......

  • rip levi stubbs, you were soooo right

  • a lot of happy people, happy times, its to bad there is so much anger and hatred around these days, there is a lot to be learned from the 70's with all its faults, i wouldnt trade growing up in the 70's for anything. hope the kids catch on at some point, seems many appreciate the music already. Bless all of you.
