I have this foundation like one month ago i got acne scars and when i apply it dries so quickly and is a weird thing im hating this thing but right now i dont money to purchae my Revlon colorstay :( but this foudation really sucks after 5 or more hours it makes my skin looks like a paper so dry and awful the only good thing i got purchasing that was that i got a free lip from maxfactot and is expensiveeeee also :( i hate this detox bla bla

i mix it in wit moisturizer it goes on a lot nicer :)

AT FIRST I hated it so much that I gave it to my sister with oily skin (I have combination skin).. but then after reading some reviews about many other foundations, I picked up some application tricks.. so I tried applying it with a foundation brush instead of my fingers and VOILA! It turned out to be perfect after all!! Vanilla 52 is a perfect match to my skin tone. Well I would give it 3.5 stars not 5 though, there are better foundations..

You can also use a damp sponge to apply it too.

This foundation works great for me ! I don't understand how you guys don't like it . I've got it in the shade beige clair . I also have the Healthy mix foundation , but I like the Detox one more .And it's not just me , some people who usually don't make me any compliments , said that my skin is prettier and asked me what i've done to it .

I bought this foundation yesterday and to be honest, its not great. It dries too quickly and is hard to blend and looks streaky. Do you know if the healthy mix foundation does the same?

@KathrynW93 I got the same problem with it....not fond of it. maybe its our skintype? I prefer dream liquid from maybelline or true match from loreal. Maybe that works better for you also? ;)

@akinnaannika I haven't tried any of those yet, but I love the healthy mix foundation by Bourjois. Its a great match to my skin tone, blends well and smell lovely too!

I have this foundation in the exact same shade (56) and I too work in the city.

I find it works and blends really well with my skin and makes my skin look absolutely flawless. Funny I work the exact hours as you too (leave at 8 home by 7pm)

Thanks Shahleena for your review. I just have to say to Bourgois what's with all the 'magic' ingredients: this has chlorophyll right, now what I remember from my school biology days that's plant food and its synthesized by sunlight but I am not a plant Bourgois, come on who are they kidding??? You look great Shaleena but I don't think I'll bother with nonsense like this. Is it horridly expensive for a drug store brand? Love their powders, bronzers & highlighters by the way :-)xx

I bought the other day, i totally agree it slides off my face after about 5 hours but i like that i dont feel like im wearing loads. I would recommend if you have sensitive skin like me and need something for college ect..

i dont recommend the concealer! Healthy mix foundation is great, but the bio detox concealer is really hard to apply, the consistency is too runny and patchy! thanks for your videos!!! :)

@legzz187 Seriously!? its what im wearing in the vid. I didnt find it gave me dryness or chalkiness. But then my skintype is combo/oily. I use my MAC 190 brush to apply and then set with a Kabuki and powder

@Shahleena i have it Vanille Clair (im an NC15) and i totaly hate it!!!it maches my skin tone perfect but it makes my skin dry,and it flakes after 5 min....

@legzz187 my mom has it,i dunno but it look cakey with the powder,so she uses only the foundation,i don't see any kind of covering and its was not very cheap...i guess she liked it because of the bio detox name....

but seriously for the weather here it can never be dry for us :)

@legzz187 same!!! the worst foundation i have ever purchased! Not only that it appears chalky and dry on me, and streaky as I started to get oily, i had so much trouble blending it into my skin as well! tried mixing it with my healthy skin, to make it easier to blend but what's the point if i am already happy with the healthy mix... I can't wait to bin it... Even worse than a GBP1.99 worth of foundation that I own...:(

@legzz187 It's not silky etc because it doesn't have silicone. That's probably why you're finding it chalky :)

@Frog255 If i had to choose i'd say Healthy Mix just because it lasts all day and doesnt give me the shiny's after a few hours
