  • Good job. I'm working this out currently and find it easier during the legato sections (the fest one starts at 0:54) to use the open A and octave on the D string rather than the E string A and the G string octave. That a hell of a stretch your making there. It sounds good for sure but you could really give your hand a break. I play it in the same position.

  • Possibly the best cover of this that I have seen. The notes are the same, or nearly so in every version, but what differs is where they are played, and some are more natural than others. I am inclined to suspect that your version is the closest to the original, because it APPEARS the most efficient. Super Job, man!

  • great!

  • Thank you so much for all your kind words. I would like to do that song, and if/when I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

  • since you played so well to " white rabbit " ,

you'd be able to perform to

    " don't you want somebody to love " ,

cassidy really does wail through it !!!

  • it's "somebody to love" & it's Jack Casady...not Cassidy....

  • THATS SPANKIN ASSOME.

  • why do you play so high up on the frets? i just started bass and is sounds closer to the song when you play on the 9th fret of e and a

  • I dunno, I just sorta worked it out that way on my own. I'm pretty sure the "proper" position is the way you play it, but I did it my own way.

  • oh, well it sounds good anyway!

  • Thanks a lot bud, it means a lot to me.

  • Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
