  • i just love her so so much! This song makes me so happy

  • SHE look so fine! All I can say is LA LA!

  • The original Nicki Minaj...

  • Is that Pam Grier???

  • I like her, but it's nothing without convicted murderer Phil Spector.

  • @BuddySystem Why he didn't sing any of the songs, he wrote and produced them. The songs are great, but without amazing singers like The Crystals, the Ronettes, Darlene Love and the Righteous Brothers the songs would have went no where. Later on and to this day Phil Spector withheld royalties that was owed to the acts he worked with. So much for Phil Spector.

  • Great!! Love the energy, rhythm and soul. Super movement. I want to dance.

  • A great singer, however, I would like to hear it as it was performed in the 60's. SIMPLY MOVING

  • This is one beautiful person. Hope all saw her comments on PBS during one on one interview...her beauty is inside and out

  • Anybody who wants to see how good Lala really is can see her at the Lincoln Center outdoor series in New York City on July 30th. Lots of other 60s girl groups too. Wish I could go.

  • wow!!! burst with energy and just amazing vocal and body

  • DeeDee - You must be kidding. La La is better now then ever.

  • She is hot!!

  • she really changed...she is good but I like her old style of singing and moving.

  • La la still sings this song great, however, nothing like she used to sing it. Now Dee Dee Kennibrew sings it better than La La .

  • I liked her in the 60's. She sounded much better. She still is a great singer.

  • OOOOOOHHHH La LA - Yes!!!

  • Considering she's been doin' this song for 50 years, I guess she ought to be able to fool around with it a bit.....but from a guy who's been listening for all of those 50 years...she is still freakin' hot!!

  • I liked La La in the earlier versions of the song. She jazzed this version up too much. Let's get back to the early crystals.

  • It is great. To say it "doesn't sound like the record" isn't all that surprising. After all, the record had the Spector production style, which I would think would be very difficult to reproduce on stage.

  • To the guy making the negative comments, yes, shame on you. Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" was created in a studio and hard to recreate "live". BUT, if you will watch the new PBS Special with LaLa, you will see that TJ Lubinsky put together a great band that creates that sound ! LaLa is still a fantastic singer, no question !

  • I just heard a better live version of LaLa Brooks singing the Da Doo Ron Ron.

You know how TJ Lubinsky has those doo wop shows on PBS.

His latest doo wop show had LaLa Brooks singing the Da Doo Ron Ron.

It was an amazing version. I watched it while i was at store, so i couldn't tape it.

This doo wop show is currently playing on PBS stations.

So hopefully someone can tape it.

  • wonderful !!!!!!!!!!!!! luv u LALA

  • oooooooooooo sweeeeeet Performance!

    LaLa You Look Sooooooooooo Fine*********

Sings Like She Did In The 60'S

  • Revivals are mostly shit! This is an example.Lala you ought to be ashame about this rubbish!

  • @jt123egypte shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jt123egypte Oh get the hell out of here with the negativity. What the hell you viewing it for, if you feel this way about it. Negative, disgusting asshole. Your comment is rubbish.

  • @butterflybloom1

I admire Lala brooks very much and Da doo ron ron ron is a jewel in the history of music. But what has this version to do with that classic of Phil Spector?Watch the black and white version on you tube...then everybody must agree this is rubbish! Shame on you Lala

  • @jt123egypte Yeah right, admire Lala Brooks my ass and describing her performance as rubbish. The Crystals which Lala was the original lead singer were the first ones to record this if you want to talk about classics. I watched the black and white version to the Crystals and that sound fine also. Shame on you for calling this wonderful singer's work classic. You are an ass to think that a live performance would sound the same as a recorded performance that was done decades ago.

  • Lala, you are beautiful, charming, and this voice!!!

    admirer of Europe

  • Check live interpretation of this song by a teenage Lala, posted in this site ( type: crystals da doo ron ron ron ron ron) and you`ll see how some forty years after, this wonderful woman still drives people crazy!!! also compare min 1:52 in this video, with 0:57 in the original to see how her moves are even hotter today..Lala gets better and better with age. God Bless her, she is no doubt one of a kind!!
