I love Um Kalthoum But I don't get offended if other people don't like her. People have such different taste. Her music is enjoyed mainly by people in the middle East. The Europeans are used to a different kind of music. She was modest and religions that is why she appeared to be snobbish, she was not. She was probably somewhat shy and she acted her age and her own culture. When you hear her interviews in Arabic, she was very sweet and kind.
