This is a movie that actually goes MUCH deeper than its skin, and the issues it so playfully addresses are mind warping when you know the science, the mythology, and the psychology that the story are really pointing toward.

I seen this around a year or 2 back and one of the lines in the film was "if the whole world turns insane and you where the only sane person left alive then it would be you who was crazy" or somthing along them lines.

And I've always loved how this song opens up the movie. I get chills when the New Line Cinema logo appears and the gentle guitar starts playing, and then the music seriously ramps up. It's like the movie is telling you that your sanity is about to get a foot in the ass.

This is a precious master-piece,but wouldn't it work better all together if Trent discovered in an end twist that he's the one really suffering from psychosis and everything up until then in the movie is therefore his delusion and therefore how it really feels like being "in the mouth of madness"?I think it should've ended just like that.
