Why did you not choose Saki? his series is coming back as Star Sucessor and he can be a quick, ranged character. Qusetion, Where did sakupon come from, and you haven't done his moveset.

My roster is similar to yours. Give Falco and Wolf new move lists, add either Krystal or Leon (he's my favorite) Remove Lucas, Add Paula, Jeff and Poo Add Ray MK Add K Rool Add Isaac Add Little Mac Remove Snake, Add Simon Add Ashley from Wario Ware Make Link not shit, Remove Toon Link and Add another not Tingle, Zelda Character. Add Goroh Add Lyn Starfy is fine too. I wouldn't mind any others, I think Geno should be a trophy though. That probably will lose me some cred

Because Ness and Lucas are already using all of Kumatora's moves. Additionally, the MOTHER series has a lot of interesting characters that are NOT psions, so why are only psions playable? It's like having only swordsmen playable from Fire Emblem, when the whole idea is that there's a wide variety of magic and weapons. Why not represent some of those?

Okay, so Ridley's size has varied. But the smaller sizes have always been in older games. In recent games, he's always been huge. And you yourself had been speaking of updating characters such as Mario and Link to thier more recent installments.

Furthermore if Ridley is included, you can't also have as small and cute a character as Starfy.

I don't think size is a factor. It's all about representation, and Ridley is a more adjustable character in size (like Olimar's massive growth). It's flexible.

Mewtwo was never replaced, Mewtwo didn't make it into ssbb because Nintendo was too rushed. Mewtwo has unfinished data, even though they were very close.

what about toad. toad has stared as peaches shield in melee and brawl if he can be put as a shield he should be able to be a character and he has been in nearly every mario game ever and he just was a playable charcter in new super mario bros wii and mario party i dont understand why not to put him in. for Right B he could through another toad.Down B could simply be he hides in his mushroom head.

I have highly considered Toad. However, I can't justify that he is any more or less a better choice than Bowser Jr.

Toad has been around since the beginning as one of the first playable Mario characters, has had his own game, and was one of the essential Mario characters.

However, ever since Super Mario Sunshine, he hasn't been nearly as important, pretty much only appearing as a race rather than a person or just becoming a multiplayer game character rather than an adventurer.

I don't know how many people actually like Michian...at least as a unit. True she would bring sopmething new to the table and be another female fighter to the lack of female fighters.

I would really like to see Claus as a boss, but it would still be pretty cool to play as him.

Tiers are pretty dumb in terms of the fact they are classified, but there IS something to be said about how revealing some of the cheap factors of characters can be revealed through them. They aren't necessary, but they are real and they speak the truth.

2nd Party: Characters owned by a company that is owned by Nintendo (Kirby, owned by HAL, Pikachu, owned by the Pokemon Company)

3rd Party: Characters owned by an independent company separate from Nintendo, but still has games for the Nintendo starring those characters (Snake, Sonic)

Not to flame or anything but do you why Pikachu was in the anime as the main character in the first place? Because he's the mascot of the pokemon series and was popular BEFORE the anime which isn't the same case jigglypuff or meowth but is for Mewtwo. I also played through the mother series and Ness CAN use moves than Lucas plus they have more than those five moves and you're forgetting A attacks( which there is alot of as compared to the 4 B moves). Hence why Toon Link is the only clone in SSB

Yes, Pikachu was popular before the anime. However, the same goes for Jiggylpuff (in some cases, I hear, even more so). Now, Meowth IS more anime geared, that is true. Mewtwo DID have popularity before the start of the anime, but that popularity (in Japan, anyways) has dwindled (and I had other reasons for not returning him). Ness has PSI Rockin' and Lucas has PK Love. Besides those, they both only use very similar shields and heal spells. There are other reasons I removed Ness.

@pizzadudemanguy But still Jiggllypuff isn't that much of an allstar(which is pretty much the main focus of the SSB series) an yes Mewtwo's popularity has dwindeld but his title as main villain of the Pokemon series has not. I would like to know some of those other reasons for both Ness and Mewtwo plz and thanx. Still great work. In my version of SSB4, I have all four of Ness, Lucas, Gigyas, and Cluse. Also I have included(made up) 4 characters oringinal to the SSB which is a new idea of mine.

In terms of popularity, Jigglypuff is more than a Nintendo All-Star. And Mewtwo is not. He has never been the "main villain" of pokemon, except for one movie. I only wanted to add 1 New pokemon character. I felt Meowth to be more deserving. I thought it would be odd to have Mewtwo as the only re-added character from Melee, and didn't want to return the others. I only wanted to add 1 New Mother character, so I chose Claus. It felt strange having two people from the same series...

And if Mewtwo wasn't a main villain then he wouldn't been along side Bowser and Ganondorf in the last event macth in Melee and the discription of that event refered to them as villains. YL, Dr. Mario and Pichu were true clones so it would only be weird if you left out Roy who has been in two games like lke making him the 3rd recurring FE hero. Btw what do think of my version of SSB4?

Ness was originally going to be replaced completely by Lucas, though that idea was later scrapped (probably because then they would only have 1 Mother character). My favorite thing about the Mother series is how the main characters of the games have very different powers. However, Lucas, Ness, and Ninten have the same powers, so I always thought of them as spiritual successors anyhow.

While popularity is only a fraction, Jigglypuff isn't just a little popular. She's REALLY popular. Much more popular than Mewtwo. As for Mewtwo, he really isn't evil. He's more of an ultimate challenge...and while that has strong points, I don't feel it compares to Meowth. Roy has only been in one FE game.

There are 50 characters like most rosters but instedof adding more 3rd parties, I created 4 1st party characters to be original playable characters and like most original smash characters, they're evil for the most part. Anyways the 21 hero allstars are led by Mario and the oringnal 10 heroes(the ones in in SSB64) where as Bowser an the 10 villains command the known 15 antiheroes and their army of combined mions alongside the other...

...four new characters who are the top 4 leaders of their leigon. What Bowser doesn't know is that in addition to their powers they can use some moves of the poeple they fight or watch fight and the boss uses that ability to create a tera lifeform. The 19 villain/rival characters will be fought in a regular SSB battle but for 12 of them can only be fought by the corresponding hero for example Black shadow can only be fought by Capt Falcon. And there will flash backs from the 3 previous games.

Hm...it sounds like a good story, but maybe the character choices are a bit too story driven? I don't mean to be negative, but...I'm really not into the whole "original characters" thing. To me, it seems a little uninspiring. That makes a nice, original plotline though, and you can't have another SSB without that!

The absolute BEST thing you can do when making your own roster is develop a plan and stick with it; support it all the way. Sure, take inspiration from what other people do or say, but make your SSB4 roster your own and just really sell it. I think you got the right idea!

Ness and Lucas are the same (even within their own series) and we don't need both, but we should take Lucas over Ness because he's newer AND more emotionally linked to the player than Ness, plus more personality.

Starfy has one of the biggest new Nintendo series, and is especially popular in Japan

Simon is the main character of the Castlevania series, which is a popular Konami title that started on the NES, like Megaman

...before the Ice Climbers, Sakurai originally intended the Excitebiker as a playable character for Melee but thought it was too weird. Considering the fact that we have a playable calculator-man and a piece of hardware, I don't see why not Excitebiker. Excitebike, when compared to classic NES games, was much more popular than Ice Climbers and MUCH, MUCH more popular than Balloon Fighter.

No, no...Meowth has plenty of entertaining video game quirks completely irrelevant to the anime. Like the Team Rocket associated one from Pokemon Yellow or the guitar playing Meowth. As far as dialogue goes though, no.
