They wern't doing anyrthing wrong and they didn't leave a mess on the ground; it seems to me that what you're doing is video harrassment...

If I see one of those out side my work place I normally empty bins in kitchen quickly and take boxes and throw them in myself, that saves me taking them all to the skips. It is handy for kitchen waste ie food waste and stuff, since I work in the kitchen.

In fact garbage collect is one of the worst services to do!
Did that job for 15 years the last 3 by myself loading a 32 yard rear load full daily. I appreciate what those guys go through because i've been there in 80 below widchill and 100 degree summers tough job with no respect. Just wished a few folks would "volunteer" to try it for a few blocks and realize how hard it is and how dumb your neighbors are.
I went with my father while i was still in school for a bring your kid to work day at Rumpke, hes been with Rumpke for 22 years and hardly gets respect from his neighbors, and everyone else on his route, just because of how early he gets.
but after i got back from the service, I went to work at Rumpke, and have been there for 6 months now. Yes it stinks, your girlfriend hates the smell, but she does love the pay i get.

i used to ride the back of a garbage truck for a summer job one time.. after a while you get the moves down. the driver doesn't even have to make a full stop.. you kinda hop off and pivot all at once, grabbing the top of a bag (or two) for balance.. swing yourself around with momentum from the truck ride, and you can sling-shot these bags into the hopper without much lifting. best thing, this whips you forward, so you jump and are back up on the truck. takes a good driver for sure, to stay safe.
in the uk you can not ride on out side of truck.... you will on the spot sacked if your caught... allso the driver gets out to help thier loaders.. do your drivers get out????
