I'm a born again Christian and I have lived in Tuolumne county my entire life. I'm also a firefighter. I have never heard of nor have I seen any evidence of "human sacrifice" in this area. I think that statement was a bit over the top.

Unfortunately there have been instances of murder, but it is very rare. This tragedy was a random act of violence. Probably kids being stupid. A 2 pound rock isn't that big but yes, it can cause serious damage.

My prayers go out to the victim and their family.

@mrgalleria To the rock thrower, it was random. He/she had no idea it was a pastor, or that it would hit a person. Satan, however, did know. And, it was a dark force that gave the idea to throw a very large stone that time, not the small rocks they had been throwing.
