No it is not. Usual projectors demand you to clean filters much more often than changing the bulb. Most people will forget this - overheating and expensive maintenance are the result.
When the bulb fails, you have to do maintenance anyway - a good oportunity to clean the air filter at that time!
By the way: 6000hours is quite a long time - several years of daily operation. I think most of those projectors will get outdated before needing a bulb or filter change.
Synchronized maintenence? What nonsense. Having both replaced at once is a personal choice.
