@ZombieRyushu Originally it ran on Windows, but that got very unstable after a while. After I switched it over to slackware linux the change was impressive. Not only did it boot up allot faster, the open-source menu system was better and everything just seemed to run more smoothly.
@pieterjan999 Impressive, are you a coder? Because my Mame Console (Mame Cabinet that plays like a set-top Console attached to a TV) is still in development. Any technical help would be greatly appreciated.
@ZombieRyushu I do code (for iPhone/Mac/Windows) and know some scripting which is useful for systems like linux. If you have any technical questions on linux, send me a message and I'll try to assist :)
PS: I've watched the videos of your console, looks like a nice setup you have. Love to see a video of it booting up and see the console case itself.
@pieterjan999 The WahCade implementation I use has bugs, and its chief maintainer recently had a baby. WahCade is a Python application. It designed to be feature compatible with MameWah.
Two major bugs: Start button bug. If you start a game with the start button on a Sega Genesis controler, WahCade either loops or freezes when you exit. It works with the keyboard.
Another major missing feature is sound effects support.
love this arcade could use a better paint job though

And I thought I was the only Linux Mame System builder.
