Just after 0:50, the verbal instructions say to "massage the reflex zone from right to left" while the video instructions show to massage from left to right. Furthermore, wouldn't the proper instructions describe "inner-foot to outer-foot" (or "outer to inner") as opposed to "left to right" (or "right to left")?

My finger would hurt, i think the last time i reached my foot with my finger for a massage, was when i was 7 stone lighter, my back would then have issues.

They are selling the course, not the plastic. The plastic is just a tool. You can still use hand, but it will hurt your finger in the long run.
