Brilliant. Reaching heights other composers could only dream of. This IS his best soundtrack, yet it's his least known. It's definitely his best in my view. I've always loved this film too.

absolutely, insanely beautiful...and a very different score that you would have thought would have been composed for this movie...criminally underrated. I think "LTZ" is one of the most beautiful looking films of the 80s ....

Why didn't the studio, which controlled the soundtrack rights to Less Than Zero, market Newman's beautiful scores? I would've been first in line.
