I've spent the past couple of days trying to unlock her. Since I don't have Super Mario Galaxy, I have to unlock her the old-fashioned way. I only have 2 cups left in Mirror where I get 60 points every time which gives me the rank "A". I've read the guidelines on how to get a star rank and I follow by them but still I get nothing.

Can anyone give me pointers for the Star and Special cups?

@Twinni77 yes, you will need to have skill to get her. you have to get at least a one star ranking on 150cc mirror mode or have a super mario galaxy save file on your wii and play 50 races.
