i totally just moved to fairbanks, and cant wait to go salmon fishing.. snow and ice need to melt.. wanna catch some fat ass pike too!! god i missed alaska! but then again, i miss back home in Florida, where the marlin and shark are the game there.. here is more salmon and Crab :)

I thought it was great Video (BUT) if you plan on catch & release I would recomend a much bigger rod than that noodle stick.With a bigger rod you can get them to the boat in a lot less time & effort plus the fish will not be quite so tired & have a much faster recovery time upon release. Just a suggestion,,, But great video anyway!

Umm, fishing for Kings in Skilak is illegal last I checked.. and then the video of the guy catching the fish in on the Kenai River NOT on the lake. Lake is at least a mile between banks except where the Kenai comes in and goes out.
