*notices your note* Well, have you considered setting your camera to mute, use a mike to capture the sounds, then stick it together in a video program? It would probably give you a bit of a cleaner sound (though you have to be careful about volume). I'm not sure if it'd work, but it's an idea ^^
Dude, it was hard thinking of advice when your awesome playing kept interrupting me XD
It hurt my ears a bit but that's probably because it's so AWESOME that my eardrums couldn't handle it. Now excuse me I need to find a way to play this song on my accordion.
Oh my gosh. That would be awesome. I have an accordion too, but I'm not good enough to play something this quick. Please let me know when you do this.
As for it hurting your ears, it's mostly because it was going through my poopy camera microphone. It probably also has something to do with my playing, but shhhh.
Nah, they're pretty easy. The first part alternates between B minor and A major. The second part alternates between D major and B minor. And the bridge has a few more chords, whatever. You could do it.
its really cool! made even cooler by the fact that you have 'The Yuyu" playing in the background for the other noises. :) and that i can watch it and listen to your version at the same time :D
Man. I thought my teacher was the only one who'd ever comment on my bow arm.
Yeah, unfortunately I've still got some really terrible technique, even after seven years of playing. It usually doesn't seem to matter much, but I know it's important. It's one of those things I've still got to work on... that damned Sevcik bowing book is the bane of my very existence.
very nicely done. although for the first 30 seconds or so hurt my ears (you were probably warming up) but after that it was great. i can tell your very talented if you had a better setup this would be absolutely amazing :D
(note: i hope im not coming off as rude O.o i really did enjoy this)
Sorry, I don't, and I'm pretty sure sheet music for it doesn't exist yet. It wasn't too difficult to learn it by ear; you might want to give it a shot.
that is such a great piece i want to start self teaching myself violin but no money to buy the worst quality of violin it stinks great playing and i saw both"littlefoot" and "the yuyu" both great films
Well, the violin is a great instrument. If you can find one and learn to play it, you'll be better off, I'm sure. I imagine you know to try to buy used if you need a less-expensive instrument. Good luck with your searching.
That's cool. I bet that sounds interesting. What do you do with your left hand for the bass? Power chords? That's what I normally do when playing by ear.
dude sweet!!! i play viola and violin and i taught myself most of this song...its so fun to put all the grace notes in there....mostly i just loved the celtic sound. your orchestra must be glad to have you =]
Yeah, this song is so much fun to play. I taught myself too... this was back when I was just first experimenting with third position, so it was kind of an eye-opener for me as far as that goes.
This video is heck-of sloppy. I should rerecord sometime soon.
Well since i'm technically a violist i couldnt care less about 3rd position until about my junior year...[lazy violas.haha] thats when i really started experimenting on my own and soon enough the violin's high notes dragged me in...=] this is still amazing, even if you think its sloppy....
horrible video quality
EXCELLENT TALENT!!!

I love this song,
it has a brilliant main celtic theme
but you can hear a kind of country-western guitar in the background

viola/violin was meant to play that part!

awesome man!!
BTW violin or viola?
Me:viola + jealous of talent (which is better than me... of course!)
still great job man!
blotsafun 1 year ago
@blotsafun That's a violin. In theory, you could play this on a viola, but if you kept it in the same octave you'd be in like eleventh position.

I could probably figure out the right hand simply, but to find chords to go along with it would be troublesome.

Hey, thanks! Actually, the song in "The Yuyu" is called "Bitey's Theme," so I used it for the background music in general.

you bow arm, the holder to elbow section, is moving much more than it should be but other than that great job.
this has inspired me to try this, i'm only 16, but i'll give it a shot and maybe send it to you via youtube.
ps: i do flash animation and Adam Philips is my idol !

I'm so in love with the part that starts at 1:54 =) It's so beautiful I could cry everytime I hear it^^

Your best bet is to use a separate audio.
Even a relatively-cheap microphone will get you a pretty decent audio.
