thing is in matches when pressure is higher for her it does change things a lot. and we've heard from many-a-people that in practices she serves rather well,it's just in matches does it get rather nerve-y. it is however exceptionally better than it was two or three years ago,you have to know if you don't follow her much. i mean look at the serving day she had against serena at wimbledon....serena could barely get her racquet on most of those serves.
I know how can she have such a weak serve with such an incredible amount of accuracy? A shame really, she can place the ball anywhere in the court she wants but doesn't have a powerful serve to do it.
It has always been more of a mental issue with her and her serve. The power has always been there, but when she begins to tire, lose concentration, or when things simply get tight in a match, her serve just falters. To her credit, she has got alot better, but it's the old adage, when things get tough, people instinctively regress back to their old habits.

I remember seeing this on TV during the Rogers Cup last year (it was special that Elena won here in Canada :D)! Elena is SO amazingl!
Elena is the most skillful and the best looking woman on the WTA tour by far - I love you Elena!!!
